Nice place to visit all kinds of things, drink, food and unique finds

I’m a thrifter, vintage/antique enthusiast, and furniture flipper. A few weeks back I was visiting a local MCM furniture store and the owner told me I’d love Velvet Mill, particularly Fun and Funky vintage. Man was he right! What a wonderful space full of shops, galleries, cafe’s, a brewery, and various vendors. My kids and I picked a great weekend to go as they were having a Valentine’s Day celebration. They had a lot of free activities for kids and the place had such a good vibe. And it’s dog friendly! We spent the day browsing, eating pizza from Woodfella’s Pizza, and buying great stuff from local vendors. My little boy even got to make free spin art which we are proudly displaying on our fridge. Every one was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really had a great day. There was plenty of parking and it wasn’t too crowded. Do your research before going. The hours are limited and posted on their website. 1 PM on a Sunday was the perfect time for us, plenty to do and see. Can’t wait to check it out this summer for the Farmer’s Market!

Wonderful old New England mill filled with unique shops and cafes. Farmers market outside during the summer and inside during the winter. Shops have interesting stock and the prices are right. Great experience for anyone.

So many cute shops to explore. They all have different hours, so plan ahead if you want to check out something specific. I personally think my favorite is Zest, the bakery. They have lots of choices and a great gluten free selection. The crepes are a must.

Eclectic is the word for this group of businesses. Several artists occupy this space as well as a bakery and Charter Oak Digital. Charter Oak specializes in scanning and preserving old media of every kind, from sound recordings, movies, VHS, Beta, print media and photographs. (Photo restoration is their specialty.) Once an actual fabric mill, there is a wide common space that accommodates community events like the indoor flea or farmers market in the colder months.

Impressive use of space. The food wasn't open when we came but it looked like it would be delicious. The art on display was Impressive and varied. The shops for reclaimed furniture were beautiful and reasonably priced. We loved the wood smell and being able to see the artist turning wood planks into furniture, so Impressive.

An unexpected experience in Mystic worth a visit and Highly recommended🙏

Cool place. Home of Beard Brewing.
A lot of neat shops and open space in the old mill. There's a wood shop, distillery and a bike shop to name a few.
Wasn't too busy. Heard it's busier during the cooler/colder months.

Love walking around here great pizza from Woodfellas... so worth the 45 min drive...Beer'd has great beers and ciders...

The shops are interesting and few very local. The space itself is fun to explore and parooze

Never knew there was so much there so much to see enjoyed the petting zoo with my great granddaughter many merchants going to

What a surprise. So many various shops, restaurants, art, and uniqueness. Try the Woodfellas pizza and Beer'd brewery. Must return!!!

Super unique spot with a bunch of fun shops. Would personally recommend Woodfellas for pizza, Zest for pastries/coffee, and SHINE wellness for a yoga class or massage. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

What a fun place to visit! Lots of beautiful and varied crafts,flea market spaces,artists,food,unbelievable bakery,great old record shop and soda fountain and bookshops. Large,closed space but vary open. Lovely piano playing to entertain you while you shopped

Beer'd and Woodfellas Pizza is the perfect match. The mill has this very relaxing atmosphere with fantastic music pumped through the main area. The art boutiques and cafes/bakeries are amazing. Definitely worth it coming by!

Wicked cute spot! I like the farmer’s market with live music and tasty eats. Love this place and can’t wait to come back.

First time here and loved it. The beer's are very good and have a good selection.
