Mama's Pizza

Great hometown pizza. It's been there forever and it's extremely comforting to walk into the classic pizza place of your youth. Many older places have "upgraded" to newer decor and many of the new places, while cute, just don't have that classic vibe. New England style pizza and great calzones, nice people, good prices. Don't expect a martini but you can get a house chianti and enjoy this great spot!

Delicious place! I absolutely love it! I have no idea why it took me so long to give it a try!
The staff is very caring and helpful, it really feels like a family place! It's Soooo good!
I highly recommend the cheeseburger and the pizza of course! The pasta is amazing as well! The menu makes me want to try everything and I'm yet to find something I don't like!
If you are in the willimantic area, please give it a try!

I mainly go for their steak and cheese grinder. But the pizza there is great too!!

Ate here a lot in the mid 70s. It's still just as good as I remembered it! The "Regular" grinder and Cheeseburger grinder are still so good. Not much has changed!

I love Mama's Pizza. I've been coming here for 51 years. Just be specific when ordering. I love their cheese pizza with olives and extra sauce. The cheesy garlic bread is delicious. The restaurant itself is low-key. Not too noisy. You can actually have a conversation while eating! We order to go often, as well!

I lived near here over 40 years ago and when I visit the area I always have to get my grinder fix. I have to say the turkey grinder, fresh out of the oven tastes just as good as it did back then! Sometimes, as time passes, reality does not keep up with our memories, but Mama's is still the best pizza and grinders in Wilimantic and beyoooond! I wish I could order something this good in Florida. None compare! Hats off to Mama's!

Service was great, the pizza was on par with most of the other pizza places. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza was good but nothing that really makes it stand out amongst the others. Yes I would definitely buy here again but would love a zestier sauce and a high quality dough so it stand out above the other pizza places.

Great place that I haven't been to in awhile. I brought my brother there for lunch. Great food and people. Reasonable prices for home style food made fresh. I was glad we were in the area again to stop by. You can't go wrong with Mama's cooking!

Love everyone that works here. When we bring our kids in, they are excited for the food and the friendly staff. The food is great too..

Had the Best heated Italian grinder. Perfect in every way, I also asked for mayo and vinegar on it. Thank You Mama's Pizza

Best tuna grinders and fries and at affordable prices.

We are not locals, we are camping in the area. We needed to run some errands and I saw this on the map. We ordered a cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. It was like heaven. I have never had such good marinara and the sticks were actually seasoned, unlike most places. The pizza .... so good, so filling - perfectly done. We will definitely take a ride back to this restaurant

Absolutely the best pizza I've ever had. The atmosphere is quite nice as well as the location is great! Parking is limited as it is on a corner but it is definitely worth it. They also have great grinders, however this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. There is an atm located inside.

Pleasantly surprised. Ordered cheesesteak grinder, my son tought they were generous with meat portion and was well season.. personal pizzas were as requested.. servuce was prompt and the person answering calls was patient.

Mama's Pizza has been dear to my heart simce I was a kid! I'm in my 30's now and still Absolutely Love their Meatball Grinder! Their pizza and pastas are great too! My mom is obsessed with their Moussaka! Great family restaurant. You won't ever regret eating here.

What can I say. The lady at the phone was lovely. Pizza was delicious, I ask for the price of the shrimp pizza but then I order an extra cheese pizza. For my surprise the delivery guy told me they trew a few shrimps there for free. That was awesome. Thanks. Recommended place. God bless.

Mama's is delish! Excellent customer service and even better pizza. I love all the Uconn Huskies photos ! Awesome touch.
