Holiday Inn Norwich, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk accommodated an early check in for Mohegan Winefest and even set up early shuttle service for a couple of groups which typically starts at 4 pm. The front desk manager/lead (didn’t catch her name) did a great job managing the guests while coordinating transportation. Shuttle was about an 8 minute ride and each driver was friendly and professional. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was great and well priced. Sharon was our server and is very sweet and provided great service.

Just off the highway, the service was incredible, they even provided a shuttle to and from Mouhgan Sun where we went to see Disturbed, Falling in Reverse and Plush!

Holiday inn is a large chain of luxurious Hotel all around the world ,it delivers good service , better atmosphere
Good choice for family get togethers and events like engagements, Marriages or any type of cultural events
We went there for Garba event,a Navratri function in Hindus culture it was very well organized we enjoyed there.

We stayed here and we went to a concert at Mohegan Sun. There was a shuttle that went from the hotel to Mohegan Sun. The shuttle service was excellent. The staff was excellent. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. It was like sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely come back here again.

Stayed overnight on Christmas 2022 with my spouse in a King Bed Room. Very comfortable bed. Room needs updating -- no USB plug-ins on lamps. The bathroom is really small, one person only. Shower was awesome! We paid $5 extra each and had breakfast in their restaurant. Service was great and food very good. We would stay there again.

Not sure what others experienced, but we had a nice stay here. Yes, rooms were a bit outdated and the signs in the elevator were fading a bit… but the room was clean, the bed comfy, the food in the breakfast was great, the staff friendly, the pool was good. Not the 3.5-4* standard of some HI locations, definitely a lower 3* standard, maybe it would be better rebranded as a HI express. Perhaps it was that my expectations weren’t super high, but this place was solid for the price and very close to Mohegan. Also, unlike other reviews, we did have USB ports by the bed. TV was indeed small but we didn’t care much. Pool was very big for an indoor pool and nice. A little refresh of some of the furniture and signage would really make this place stand out. Thanks, we will be back.

Front desk staff are friendly and helpful quick with the service! Clean inside and out! Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Spacious rooms clean. Slightly outdated and signs of wear, but comfortable. Would stay here again! They offer shuttle bus to casino. Along with a pool and work out room. There is a restaurant on site. And It is convenient to shopping areas and many food options are available right up the street! Thanks for the stay!

Nice hotel with fairly close proximity to Mohegan Sun. They offer shuttle service with steady service. Excellent pool that is open fairly late with a deep end that goes to 6'. No hot tub, although some travel sites list one as an amenity. Nice Sports bar in premises. Excellent happy hour with 50 cent wings. (Get the buffalo). Decent plate of nachos... happy hour = $2 drafts and kids eat free with purchase from adult regular menu. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our bathroom tub could use a makeover though. Floor was peeling in tub.

I always used to think Holiday Inns were just a generic chain of hotels but this one was amazing. The room was excellently furnished, it's beds we're very comfy and the staff was very polite and accommodating.

The stand out moment for me was when my group was organizing our rides to a wedding after-party. We were likely loud and disorganized and when the manager came out to talk to us, we thought he would ask us to tone it down. Instead he simply wanted to warn us about recent changes to the local rideshare programs that may leave us stranded at the venue. He didn't have to do this and it very much shows that the staff cares about their guest's well-being. People in our group who did not stay at the hotel did in fact get stranded.

Very grateful and if I'm staying in the area, I am definitely returning.

the hotel was nice and clean, the check in lady had to be the nicest person I have ever had, very helpful with what is around and the shuttle to the casino. I was worried since when we got back last night after going to the casino, there were some rowdy people, but they quieted down once we got out of the lobby and our room was nice and quiet. the beds were super comfy, we had boatloads of towels and awesome B&B shampoos, lotions and soaps. I didn't get a chance to try the pool but it looked clean and people were swimming in it. Highly recommend going here, I will definitely go back on our next Mohegan Sun outing!!!

Always a nice and pleasant stay, always clean, all staff are helpful but I wanna give a very special thanks to one of the front desk employees casaundra. She was very helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond her job to make my stay comfortable. Answer all questions and concerns. I recommend this hotel over any in the area. But again thank you to all staff and casaundra..

Good place to stay. The hotel was clean and, there was a shuttle right to Mohegan Sun with a super accommodating driver who made extra trips just to check that no one was left behind. The staff is also attentive and willing to go the extra mile. I forgot something in my room and didn’t realize until I was home. Jessica went right then and there and found my item for me and shipped it to me the next day. I really appreciated her saving me the 2 hour trip back there! The service in the restaurant is also excellent and the staff there is great as well. Would definelty go back and stay again!

Amazing place! Close to Mohegan Sun. Had the balcony on the 6th floor. The staff was amazing and accommodating. I added another person at the last second, they supplied a cot, they could sleep on. I highly recommend to add the breakfast. The pool was a perfect temperature

I was very impressed with the building, staff, and room. The room has a red/maroon accent wall that makes it pop. Keurig K-cup coffee machine is a nice touch too. The fitness center is small (no weights) but better than nothing. It is very nice and although I'm here for work, I'd definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very nice and at a convenient location for getting around the city. Staff members are friendly and helpful, love the shuttle to the casino and the driver was awesome! Good food and clean spacious room! All my needs were met!

Attended a professional event here, conference rooms were very clean. Refreshments provided by the hotel were restocked constantly so there was always hot coffee which is a plus. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Hotel bar was reasonably priced.
