Rockville United Methodist Church

I went to pick up my baptismal record and the pastor and office manager we're so kind and helpful. It brought back good memories of my Nana and her involvement with the church. Seeing her name on a memorial plaque brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. If you're looking for a warm and friendly church, you've found it in this church.

Great Service

Before the last pastor left, this church was starting to grow spiritually, numbers-wise and even in diversity. With current pastor, the church numbers have plummeted. He has allowed a small group of long-term members to run the church like a mafia, and no longer is church God-breathed and Christ centered. When they gather for leadership meetings, there is no prayer. God’s Word and his will are not the center here; the small mafia-like leaders enforce their will through social rejection of others that do not look like them or think like them and the pastor allows it, whether intentionally or not. The Conference itself allows this to go on. Little to no diversity, they do not help members in the church but brag about donations to the local community while members hurt. Would not recommend.
