Cedar Valley Eye Care

I went there recently for an eye exam. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional checking me in and they got to me very quickly. I had my one year old with me and both the assistant that did my exam and the doctor were very patient and friendly to both of us. Those appointments can be very cumbersome with children, and I was very appreciative to the staff for accommodating us.

I have been seeing doctors here for years. Dr. Suzanne Smith is the absolute best (and the other ones I have seen are great too). She is so knowledgeable and patient during exams. The rest of the staff is professional and friendly. The lead optician helped me pick out some frames and wrote down the ones I liked since I wasn't ready to buy today. Highly recommended coming here.

While having surgery and recuperating care and getting dialysis started, the care center that I am staying at made arrangements for me to have my eyes checked. I was lucky to be referred to Cedar Valley Eye Clinic. I was greeted warmly and without me asking, the reception nurse offered to come out to the waiting room and help fill out the Ipad. All of the ladies made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I am an amputee and have damaged hands so the help was invaluable! I was quickly taken back where a young lady gave me my "pre" eye exam. When the Doctor came in he was professional and knowledgable and fixed a few problems I have been having and we got my new glasses ordered! From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience and I will be happy to come to town every year to have my eyes checked!

Needed prescription sunglasses - was super impressed with the selection of sunglasses. Absolutely outstanding customer service! They were able to see me right away, found a great pair, payment options were discussed which felt super helpful, and the sunglasses arrived earlier than expected! This is my first choice location for ordering top quality glasses!! Thank you so much!!

Great and pleasant staff. You are admitted on time and taken to exam room. Doctor is with you within minutes. This was really nice experience after the big disappointment with other health vision provider in the area. Cedar Valley Eye Care is my preferred and desired health vision provider. My whole family switched to Cedar Valley Eye Care. Dr Cook is awesome

WRONG PLACE SORRY

I have been going here for years and I always get great service. The techs are friendly and professional. I have a complicated prescription, but Dr. Puck and Lana in the eye glass department always do a great job.

It’s a busy place but they get you in and out!

The doctor was friendly as well as the staff on the doctor's side. The lady on the frames side was kind of rude/unhelpful. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they sent me home without a complete eyeglasses prescription so now I have to get a ride back before I can even order my glasses. It really does no good to go to an eye doctor for an exam and not get a complete prescription, if you are a person who really needs to purchase glasses rather than the other testing they do. So overall it was a waste of time and money because I don't even have a complete prescription

Was a a awesome doctor, Doctor Cook but the lady in the eye glasses center was a little rude and snobby. Just my experience. I'm sure she is a very nice person and I just caught her at a bad moment.

The doctors are amazing but the optical department is ridiculous. I got my child's glasses and they "had a 1 year warranty." 2 weeks later, they broke, they do not have the same frames anymore so therefore it is NOT covered. Vision4Less is where we went next as they offer a 1 year warranty with paperwork to prove it.

Dr. Cook was amazing and deserves 5 stars. However the rest of the staff especially the lady who started my exam deserve 1 star. It’s very clear she is not happy with her job. She made it very clear she didn’t care to ruin someone else’s day with her mood/manner and it’s extremely unacceptable and uncomfortable. The receptionist at the front was not very welcoming either. She gave attitude when I opted to purchase my contacts online instead of through them. Lastly, I asked to get my PD measurement and the ladies in the glasses department had to make sure they can “just give that out” and the lady confirmed they do while rolling her eyes like it was a huge inconvenience to take 30 seconds to hold a machine up to my eyes and write the measurements on the piece of paper. Dr. Cook either needs to find a new office or get entirely new staff because these reviews speak loud and clear.
