Harbor Freight Tools

I LOVE this store! I no longer allow myself a cart… too much fits into a cart!
Ps. They have THE best prices on nitrile gloves! Also pictured, a handy working station, BOTH under $10! BOOM!

I think I have rated Harbor Freight in the past. They are always on my "go-to" list. They have a very wide variety of "stuff." The prices are great and occasionally amazing.

Great prices on tools and supplies. The new Bauer line looks to be a strong competitor. I just bought their palm router and am anxious to see how it holds up.

Who doesn't love Harbor Freight? Off brand tools but still good quality that will last a lifetime. Much less than High end tools where your paying for the name. You can always find a good quality tool set, air compressors, generators, or just a single wrench to replace the one you lost. Many choices on quality. You can get lower quality at a very low price or high quality much lower priced than Craftsman or Snap-on if you're a professional.

My husband asked a clerk to help him find something and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. I found a very nice flashlight to go in my purse for $1.79.

I buy way to much stuff here, and probably go in once every two weeks just to window shop. Quality has gone way up on many of their tools. Employees here are nice and seem happy enough to not have a lot of turnover - Harbor Freight is a good employer by all reports. I have never had an issue with them honoring a warranty, coupon, etc. Store is small-ish but has what you need.

A good place to get tools for less. As a guy that loves his work. This is a place I go for cheaper blades, sand paper and just over all cheaper tools. Get a 2 year warranty and take them back if they are broken or not and they will replace for a small fee.

It's a new store so the place is sparkling clean. They have a nice variety of tools from wrenches to safes. I really like how they give you a couple options to choose from to better fit individual needs. Great virus awareness and protocols.

They always have what I need at a great price. The staff is always helpful, will definitely continue going here.

Just... Love this place. The sales staff is always ready and willing to help. They are personable and make the shopping experience more enjoyable. The store is always clean and organized. I always look forward to stopping by there whenever I'm in Iowa City.

I was about to replace an extension chord with another extension chord, for my EV. They informed me that really all I had to do was replace the plug. Saved me a LOT of money. The part they sold me didn't work out but they still sold me the tools I needed, and I eventually fixed it on my own. Bonus: I brought the chord to the store because I was being a weenie about testing it and they supported me lol, plugged it in for the first time. Great experience.
Also bonus: they have a ton of women front facing at the store. Just a detail, gives me some confidence when I walk in there.

Great customer service! We interacted with 3 different people on the floor. All knew the store and was able to get what we needed for a emergency truck brake replacement we needed extra air tools for. Thanks guys!

Nice store, clean, helpful staff, great prices! I was thrilled to hear that a Harbor Freight would be opening up in Iowa City so I wouldn't have to drive to Cedar Rapids. I finally got over to check out the new store as I was needing a blood pressure cuff of all things. I asked a staff member what part of the store they would be in and not only did they know, they took me right over to them. I was already going to be coming back because of the prices, but having friendly and helpful staff (along with a brightly lit and clean store) just makes it that much better.

Harbor freight sent me a 20 percent coupon to get me to come back.i bought a trifold atv ramps for a great price.. everyone was friendly. Worth the trip!

The few things I bought have been great.

Harbor freight is the best tool place in Iowa City. They have great sales quality tools very inexpensive. You can get a half inch drive torque wrench in there for 20 bucks. They have huge selection of drills and impacts and grinders and Sanders and welding stuff electrical stuff's a little slim but overall they do a really good job of everything they have in the store.
