Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The food was excellent and so was the service! The cashier misheard our order and we didn’t notice until our food was ready. He immediately fixed the issue and didn’t even charge us extra. Someone came over during our meal and asked how we liked our food. Then at then end when I went to pay for a pup cup, they said it was complimentary. The staff was excellent all around! A really great group. And great food!

For fast food, this place is exceptional. Good is great for price, people are nice, rarely a line or wait, fabulous pup cups. This is literally the only restaurant with a window I will patronize. My only complaint is I sometimes get sweet tea when I order unsweetened tea.

Stopped here on my way out of town. I must say this place is top notch! Service was friendly and fast. The store is fairly new and well kept. Food is equal to the service, great! Next time I’m back in IC, I will be stopping here again.

First time here. Sooo many choices. Loved that. My daughter got cheese fries they were not stenchy with cheese at all like most places. The rest of us got burgers and fries. Great steam burger nice and thin meat with onion mustard and pickles. Fries had lots of seasoning which I was surprised for being shoestring fries nice and crispy. Definitely coming back for dessert later🥰

All employees were busy working, smiling, and enjoying their day. We witnessed professionalism , team work spirit, (2) of the employees came over and made sure our food was fresh, and everything was ok.
They all need to be complimented by their manager (s) ! This was our first time dining at Freddy’s in Coralville Iowa and will definitely be back!

Great service, great food , great atmosphere!!! It's almost like an old 70's look in the restaurant cool as can be...Price for the 2 of us $17 bucks I got the triple cheese burger with bacon and the fries fresh and absolutely amazing make sure you add all the goodies the burgers come with cheese, mustard and pickles and onion so if you want other toppings make sure to request them. The burger patties are 2.66 oz the manager said so I got the triple the right amount of fries and the seasoning on the fries fire make sure if your in the coraleville area hit that Freddy's up right down the way from the University of Iowa It was out first time at Freddy's and we will be going back for sure... I believe on Tuesdays kids eat free with purchase of the adult meal and Wednesdays college kids get a free drink and fries with a purchase of a sandwich from 2pm-5pm make sure to call ahead on those days and the bathrooms were clean I added that because most places like that the restrooms can be a major turn off especially when your trying to have a good bite to eat... The only thing I was disappointed in that I don't have more pictures of Freddy's custard & steak burgers for my review but I will next week when we head back to Coraleville... Great Spot very impressed and a impressive little spot and will get you another review next week about the custard!!! Once again Great food, Great Service and Great atmosphere!!!

First time at Freddy's was an overall good experience. The food was delicious even tho our concrete mixers were melted when they called our number. The restaurant was mostly clean but needed a good sweep and someone to wipe off all the tables. Will come back but might do drive thru.

I had a bacon cheeseburger and I liked that the burger wasn't greasy. I highly recommend the cheese curds, best around!

First time going to try this place. Very satisfying, and for sure will return in the future. Thanks for a great experience!

First time visit -Freddy's key lime pie mix was wonderful. My husband and I shared a large. It was plenty for both of us. We will have to try the dining room next time.

I got a jalapeno cheeseburger and a strawberry shake. Service was friendly and I liked the food better than Steak n Shake or McDonald's. Will eat here again for sure.

First time I've eaten there. Was really good. Needed a smaller burger though. And they forgot my ketchup.. dinning area kinda small, it filled up fast.

Food is over-sauced, but delicious! The new BBQ beer-cheese pretzel steak burger was REALLY delicious! Note (that we were not informed about): when you're order is ready, they will announce your number over the speaker, even outdoors. The frozen custard concretes were very good too! I got the key lime one and loved it, even more than any DQ blizzard. There is a 15% discount for active duty and veterans too.

Freddy's is by far my favorite fast food restaurant. The quality is great, as is the service, and it is much less expensive than that place down the road owned by a number of guys. Be sure to get the app on your phone and join the rewards program. Not only do you get good food for cheap, but every few visits, you can spend the points you earn on free food.

Stopped here later in the afternoon on Saturday (4/1/23) after my daughter's club volleyball tournament at the college. We were both impressed with the service we received at the counter, he was very polite and handled our order perfectly. He seemed happy to be there and it showed in his work, unfortunately I didn't capture his name. But also impressed with our food and ice cream. We are from Illinois and had never heard of Freddy's and so glad we stopped! Keep up the good work!

Stop in on the recommendation from my sons team at stead family. I had a burger and fries and my son had a the same but with ice cream for dessert. He rated his 7 out of 10,if it had more cheese it would of been a 10 (his words and he's 8 so) The food was great and I loved the fries. I had a bite of his ice cream and it was so good. We'll be back and try some other stuff on the menu

The burger was really good, the fries are definitely thinner and longer than how most of us think of fries. However, don’t let that full you the fries are just right, not too crispy, and not too soggy, and very tasty because of their seasoning also, their fry sauce goes perfectly with the fries. Also, for no extra charge you can get a frozen custard with your meal. By far the best fast-casual restaurant ever. Definitely would recommend.
