Wow, these guys blew me away with how fast and great the service was. I called them this morning, and within 15 minutes, they were at my house and got my truck unlocked. I tell you what, I am not going to be so worried when I do that again (I have 2 kids 4 and 5) I will just give these guys a call. They were awesome.

I had a bad experience buying a car from a local dealership. They had no communication and struggled to make good on promises. They lost the spare key to the vehicle I bought and said they’d contact Metro and get me a key. I waited a day and had to call metro myself. Nick answered my call on a Saturday and told me this dealer had not contacted him. He was so helpful. He took the initiative to call the dealer to finally get the ball rolling. In less than 3 hours he had the dealer send over the necessary paperwork, came to my house and got me a new key! He absolutely went above and beyond. It was a great way to end a horrible experience. Couldn’t recommend Metro and Nick enough. Thank You!

Had to go in for a key fob for my old car. They were efficient and got it done in short order. Price was reasonable, considering others didn’t have fob, were out or cost more.

I had Metro Lock & Safe meet me to replace a car key. They responded to my e-mail instantly. They told me what the estimate would be and met me on time. Justin was very nice and professional. I was back on the road in less then 15 minutes. Awesome and polite service.

Nick was the best! He explained everything to me when I was scammed by a bad locksmith company and helped me instantly and got other key fobs programmed for me! As well as cut! I got 3 key fobs for 100$ more than what the scammed charged me and he had it done the next day in so little time! I waited 2 weeks to get my car to work and they were instant! Would have been same day but I was working so I couldn't. Would recommend this company to ANYONE absolutely professional and did an amazing job!

Always a great experience. They have large inventory of keys. They cut them with great precision and can program them if needed as well. Great doing business with them. Glad they are on Ingersoll Avenue!

Almost lost hope of fixing my ancient door lock from 1915.. My boyfriend and I just purchased our first home and the house came without keys so we pulled the door apart and in hopes of coming from northern Iowa near Ft Dodge to get this lock fixed they were reasonable, helpful, and kind. We thought we’d have to replace our front door and now we don’t have to they also were able to make new keys as well which is a relief! So happy they were able to fix our old door lock for our new home!! Thank you so much!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Metro Locksmith getting a couple truck keys duplicated and programmed. Fast, courteous, helpful and priced right, I would highly recommend them, they know what they’re doing!

Stopped in today to get the factory door code for my 2013 Ford Edge. Took Evan about two seconds and I was in and out. Feel kinda silly because I have had the car for many years without having a door code. Was told I would have to go to the dealership and spend close to a couple hundred, so just never went. Thanks Evan, MetroLock is the BEST!

The man was prompt and polite. Gave me a time. I am sure he was all set to come to me. But I did not need his services but he was polite, prompt, and pretty nice to communicate with. When you are in trouble, and seeking help on a cold snowy noon in Des Moines, you need help but more than that you need a kind and helping voice!!

Both Roy, who is the shop manager, and Mike took care of me expeditiously and professionally. Although the dealership failed to uphold their end of our mutual business, they were magnanimous with their patience is resolving the issue. Will be coming here in the future for all key fob, lock issues.

I highly recommend this place, I called up and spoke to a mike, explained my situation, my budget and what I can comfortably spend and he told me to come in and he’d help me, as soon as I walked in he took my key fob and fixed my issue, with no charge. My pin fell out of the nob apparently they were designed to small, the pins for Kia rios, my car happens to be a 2020. It took less than 15 minutes and I walked out of there with a working key and in my fob again!

Awesome experience! In less than 20 minutes i had a copy of my car key, 2 key batteries changed, and 4 copies of my apartment key made. An apartment key that 4 other shops told me they couldn't copy. Amazing, thank y'all!
