I hope this reaches the Manger for Josh, a sales associate at the CB location!! I am late to enter this through their survey but Josh deserves recognition!!!

My husband visited the CB location on on 8/27/23. He went to purchase a grill that was currently on sale. He showed up at 430pm and went right to a sales associate and asked for assistance on getting a grill down and purchased. The associate radioed a coworker and my husband waited for over 30 minutes and no one showed up to help him. Yes, he should have said something but he decided to leave without the grill. We planned to do a store pick up for the following day but that didn’t happen. We decided to go to the store the following weekend, 9/2/23 and purchase the grill since we were in town.
I asked for assistance, and quickly Josh came to assist. Unfortunately, we had noticed the grill was no longer on sale which was a bummer but we were still going to purchase. We started talking with Josh and he was very quick to respond and let us know he would honor the sale price and he was more than apologetic on our last visit. He helped us to the register, and helped load the car for us with our other purchases. He was so happy to help us, and make sure we got the best customer service possible to try and make up for the past visit.
We were very pleased with his service and how fast he was to make a custom happy!!

Please give Josh many kudos and use him as an example for future employees 😌😌

Best prices and best service in Council Bluffs. Next time, we won't waste our time checking out the competition.

We needed a new stove and home depot had a nice selection on display. They had to order the one we wanted but still only took a few days to get. It was a Samsung convection oven and so far the wife loves it
It had great reviews. They delivered and set in the kitchen so I could easily hook it up and put in position. Delivery guys were great and polite. Thumbs up homedepot

Got alot of Christmas presents there for our daughter..first time home owner and our son and d.i.l...young couple home owners.

Only because of Layne was wonderful to work with. The only person behind the desk. He was so busy helping everyone all at the same time. Also, he was answering the phone that never stopped. Not even another person came to help. He even offered to buy us a drink of our choice because we had such a long wait. He should be up for an award. His pleasant nature was a blessing. Home Depot should be so glad to have an employee as a member of their family.

We picked up my daughter and son in laws kitchen cupboards. They were supposed to be ready for us and they weren't. Thanks to Alfredo and Samuel they got them all picked from out back. It took awhile but those 2 guys were amazing. . They need a good little bonus. Thanks again to Alfredo and Samuel.

Nice store, fun place to shop. You can find almost anything you need here. You must tell the cashiers you are a Veteran to receive the discount. They do not care to ask if you are a Veteran. That part was a sad disappointment, no we didn't get our well deserved and earned Veteran's discount.

I frequent this store regularly, being an owner of an older home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I hardly ever have to wait to check out.

Always have what I’m looking for! Great prices, sales, and quality items! Friendly and m knowledgeable Employees, clean, and organized. Definitely my go to over Menards or Lowe’s! 👍🏼

I had an issue with my Hone Depot credit card and the customer service center could not help me and refer me to the store. I went to the Council Bluffs location and the gentleman at the customer service counter did everything he could to resolve my issue but when he couldn’t he called the manager (Cody) and he made sure that my issue was handled to my satisfaction. Thank you for the great customer service today!

Could use a few more people working, seems no matter when I go there and need help in a particular department, I always have to walk around to find someone to get the person for that area. Great products tho, great selection of quality tools, tile and flooring

Love the fact that they cater to veterans

Typical big box store. They have just about anything you need for home repair, remodeling, or maintenance. There are usually lots of friendly, helpful workers looking to assist in any way they can. I have no problems shopping here.

We spent way too much money there. My first time in a Home Depot but I will be back. The prices are reasonable. The only issue was trying to find an employee. It seems they have been hit by the same problem other places that don't pay enough are facing. We ended up buying our stuff online because no one was there to help.

This is the Best Home Depot around. The day I was here I had a great experience..I easily found everything I needed & the prices aren't too bad.The employees were friendly and helpful& the cashier that checked out my stuff went above and beyond,
He took the time to fill out a home Depot credit card application for me right at the register and proceeds to tell me that just for me applying he was going to take $25 dollars off. So the stuff I purchased was cheap as heck. He was so friendly and willing to help..I believe his name was
William; a store manager. Thanks William.

I really like going here for my home improvement needs. The only thing I've found wrong is there have been times where no one is around to help me out with ideas or what I'm looking for. A guy in the lawn mower area one day while I was in the middle of learning about a particular lawn mower, decided he had something else better to do and walked away from me. He didn't seem to know much anyway. Lucky for me, Tammy saw me there and came over and helped me out. Another employee who stands out is Ed. He's given me lots of ideas, and ways to do things. Because of him, I've purchased lots of things from there. These two seem to be looking for customers instead of us looking for them. I've found them to be very knowledgeable and passionate about what they're doing. I've actually been sold on things by them that I had no idea about, that they knew would help make my work easier and better.
The store has probably everything you would ever need for home improvement, and they have a veterans discount. I find that very nice of them. Due to all of this, Council Bluffs Home Depot is the only home improvement store I'll go to.
