UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Southglen

I moved and am the Unity Point on Ingersoll is literally only 2 minutes away but I’ve stayed with Southglen because of the great staff and even greater doctors.

I recently took my 5 month old daughter here to be seen & tested for COVID. I was on day 5 of my own COVID infection. I called the clinic ahead of time to let them know & they said I could bring her. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly & put into a room away from others. The entire staff could not have be more understanding or accommodating. We recurved great care here from Dr. Even. I also love that you can sometimes get same day appointments. We will be back.

There are two clinics here at this location: ( Urgent & Family ) so both sides should be reviewed separately. I saw a Doctor at the Family Medicine side, and had a wonderful experience. The nurses were very caring & kind, & my Doctor was exceptional & seemed to really care about my well being, which is rare these days. I’d recommend this Family Medicine location over any other clinic out there. 5/5

I went to Urgent Care twice & both times I was treated very good & the wait was not long, however, I suppose it depends on time of day. Nurses & Doctors were both great, & when I went in sick, I was surprised they didn't take blood work, especially the second time for same thing. If you are truly wanting blood work, I would call & make sure you can get that done. This place is clean, has great receptionist and great nurses and Doctors and makes the whole process easier. 5/5

Check in was fast. Waiting was about 1/2 hour, which is not all that long given it's an urgent care and everyone is a walk - in. The receptionist set me up to provide a sample to be analysised by the lab, so the results would be available when the health care provider came into the exam room. The medical assistant was very friendly and took my vitals quickly. There was a short waiting period before the PA came into the exam room. He asked a lot of questions to help him decide a course of action for me. I thought his physical exam of me was not only thorough, but quick. I found common ground with both receptionist and medical assistant and actually had fun conversations with them.

We took our 3 & 1 year old daughters here today to both be tested for strep throat. The staff was wonderful and we were seen very quickly. The nurse and provider both were very caring with our girls and took the time to hear their recurrent strep history to make sure they were treating them appropriately. Very thankful we decided to visit this urgent care facility today as we are from out of town and just choose the closest location. Great experience!

I went here for a covid 19 checkup and the staff was great. They helped answer all of my questions and really made the whole visit painless. I hate going to the doctor so it was nice that they were interested in my concerns and seemed to value what I had to say. The office is clean but the clientele are pretty ratchet but I guess that's normal for a urgent care. Regardless, 5/5

Took my wife to the urgent care south glen clinic on Sunday September 3. She was treated and transferred to the emergency room. The nurse who handled her care was the most professional caring understanding proficient nurse I have encountered in years. I never did catch her name but I hope that somehow this message is relayed to her and her superior . Made a tense expierance tolerable. Thanks

Evan Peterson is my provider. Like Jason Sullivan, I do a very thorough interview before agreeing to the others terms. I am particular about some matters, perhaps stubborn even, so it takes a patient, intelligent and tolerant fellow to handle me! These young doctors LISTEN first! Both are ☆☆☆☆☆ (5 star) professionals and their staff compliments their skills.

I took my 2 year old in today to be seen and it was a great experience. The staff was helpful and so nice to work with. Our wait time was not too bad. The office was super clean and nice. Would highly recommend this place - we had a great experience!

We have seen Dr. Adam multiple times and he has always been wonderful.,sometimes there is a wait, but it's a walk-in clinic so that is to be expected. The staff is very kind and the doctor is very thorough.
