Easter Lake Park Shelter #1

This is much nicer than the last time I was here. Which was over 10 years ago. The shelter is large and great for a big group. It does have a standard camp ground grill and tables. On the outside of the parking lot there is a playground. Which does look fairly new. The lake itself is very close and looks so much better than before. It does seem larger and cleaner as well. I did not see any restrooms but I also didn't look for one while I was there.

Huge trail, enjoyed the lake view as well as the bridge, the playground is great for kids and plenty parking space

Such a cool little park on the edge of des moines!!!! Clean, well tended, great walking/biking trails, and a covered bridge!!!

A beautiful park for all ages. A bike path for families or anyone to ride, a playground for the kids and a gorgeous scenery for walking. I’d recommend this place to everyone to sit and enjoy, walk, a beach to relax and take a swim, play or ride around.

We had a birthday party for my great grandson. Even tho it rained, we were in the shelter house, and we had a great time. Before the rain all of the kids played on the playground equipment. Was so fun!

Easter Lake Park lives again! Cudos to all those who did the hard work of emptying, redesigning, and refilling! It looks great and will serve our community for years to come. There's SO much to offer here from wide smooth trails to picnic and play areas, fishing, the swinging bench, and of course our own covered bridge. DSM's Southside Hidden Gem!

The trail is so nice since it's been redone and the leaves are changing and absolutely beautiful
