I was visiting Drake and happy to see this hotel is right across the street. It felt clean and modern. Nice size room and good breakfast buffet. Great WiFi. Pleasantly surprised with how easily I could check in and out via the app and use the virtual key from my phone. Super slick and worked perfectly. Thanks!

This hotel is in a very convenient location across from Drake University and the Dogtown neighborhood. The parking lot behind the hotel was safe and roomy. The hotel is very secure, plus technology for your mobile phone can be your access to everything from the hotel's entry doors to the elevator to your room entry. Front desk staff were helpful and available all the time. The rooms are suites with full kitchens, and have layouts that make sense. The room, and the hotel in general, has a refreshing design style that is modern and airy. The breakfast buffet had a wide assortment of foods to suit everyone, and coffee/tea is available throughout the day. Definitely returning.

I booked based on the reviews and am so glad I did. I'll definitely stay here again. Loved the following: 1) everything can be done on the app (can use your phone as your room key), 2) security features (e.g. can't operate elevators without room key / phone-as-room-key), 3) cleanliness, 4) easy parking, and 5) great location if you need to be downtown; it's not in the center of downtown, but a 5 minute drive away. And 6) I usually could not care less about decor, but I appreciated the crisp, modern look. It was a cross between contemporary European mid-range hotels and Ikea store displays. :-)

This hotel is excellent!! Super clean and quiet. The beds are a bit soft but was still very comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was one of the most elegant hotels I have stayed in. All of the finishings were high end with lots of technology features added in. The bed was incredibly comfortable the rooms were well decorated and the location was ideal.

It is a very nice and seemingly quite new hotel directly across the street from Drake University. We would definitely stay there again.

We unfortunately had some very obnoxious neighbors who were loud until about midnight and then starting again around 4am. I'm not usually one to complain, but they were right across the hall and kept waking up our kids. The front desk person who answered my call for help took care of it very promptly, which was amazing. Thank you!

The hotel is beautiful. Our stay was wonderful. There was not staff at the front desk often because they were helping others, but with the digital world, I was able to text my needs.

Loved it, no complaints, just know if the place is packed the prices for rooms goes extremely higher. So plan in advance.

Good hotel experience. Nice, comfortable bed. The room had the amenities for longer stays. Everything is in top notch condition.

Great facility to access drake university. Chris, Andrea, Erin, and David are great. Stayed here for 8 days. Even helped me with extending my stay on short notice. Greatly appreciate everyone here including the cleaning staff.

Checked in later in the evening after flying in to move child out of dorm. Very friendly and explained everything. Cold and snowy so only observed the patio areas, but they looked very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Plenty of room for a lot of people to eat in the breakfast area. Loved that we were able to eat with real plates and utensils. Love that the artwork represents Drake. Definitely would stay here again.

When I checked in, there was a problem with the elevator. That meant I had to wait for quite awhile before someone came to front desk since only 1 person was working. But the manager on duty moved my room from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor so I didn't have to walk up so many stairs which I appreciated. It was rather noisy with basketball fans and young swimmers all staying there. The breakfast was pretty good, though.

Clean rooms and friendly service. Hot breakfast included. We had a room with a small kitchen complete with dishes and tableware. Bed was very comfortable. Across from Drake University. Very satisfied

Very comfortable suite that was clean and well maintained. A good variety of food options for the included breakfast. No issues with parking, and location was convenient for where I was working. Would enjoy staying here again.

Night Auditor was amazing to say the least. Im a Guest Service Manager for a Courtyard Marriott. I've been in hotels most my life so I wont lie I have high expectations when I stay in hotels and this hotel met everyone of them. So thank you for your great customer service. Housekeeping, Front Desk and Management you guys are doing fabulous. I really love the privacy curtain in the room. You deserve 10 stars just for that alone. Rooms were very clean hotel was beautiful. Awesome hotel awesome everything! I will stay here again and I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located just across Drake University and is conveniently accessible to many of the restaurants along University. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is what makes it all worth staying here!

This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I read the good reviews, and so I was hopeful, but you always can’t tell. I like how I can check in and out, and receive a digital key on the app. I never had to go to the front desk. Our room was absolutely spotless. Everything felt and looked so clean. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a great hotel.

Very nice facility. We struggled finding the front entrance and ended up going around the block. We eventually figured it out. I used the Hilton app to check in and used the digital key. Very slick. I loved the security. You need your key to run the elevator and access the stairs. The double queen studio room was spacious and clean. A little pricy but it was state fair weekend. All in all, a great place to stay with great restaurants within walking distance.

Location - Perfect. Next to Drake University on University Ave. Lots of restaurants, lively and felt safe. Free parking.
Room was very clean and we got a nice view of the university building
Breakfast was good with lots of healthy options. The lady is kind and helps out if you have any diet restrictions. I like that they don't use plastic

Feedback for improvements -
- I wish they had was stove top in the kitchen. You can request a portable induction stove at the front desk, which I wouldn't have known if I hadn't asked. So the front desk should mention that to guests upfront.
- Bathroom door doesn't have a handle to open/close
- Bathroom Faucet is too close to the edge but not a big deal

Clean and well maintained rooms. Soft pillows and towels that don't feel like they are taking off your skin while using them. I could eat the waffles there everyday. Everyone was super friendly and attentive when needed. What more could you ask for?
