That place is an Eastside legend in itself. Warm atmosphere, good music, incredible acoustics great drinks, some of the best folk in Des Moines are patrons or members of Hawkeye Lodge 33 Rose Temple

I really enjoyed my first visit. The Blues hall of fame is so very interesting. Beer was cold and service was prompt. I didn't eat but several in the party got the dinner special for 8 bucks that was a good value and great food. Great energy!

Shot out to Roosevelt and Teresa !!! All the way from the S.T.L , I definitely enjoyed myself . The hospitality was priceless , the Dj , did his (thang) .Lord willing until next time❤

Invited here by a couple of friends to see an amazing blues band, "Sumpin' Doo". If you see the "Live Music" sign out, stop in. They do a great job and take good care of the community and the blues.

This place is nice but small, serves the best drink money can buy and is a friendly adult crowd, DJ Hollywood is super, he knows how to get the party started.

No place in Des Moines can you find the best live music on Saturday's but the Hawkeye Elks Lodge. An organization that gives back to the community through scholarships and providing toys for tots every year. Good times start here.
