My drives around the Des Moines area on this past Wed. took me to the Kwik Star located on State 415 on the west side of Polk City. All I ever expect out of convenience store is parking (check), cleanliness (check), and service (double check). I zipped in for my coffee, went to the counter and was greeted by a young man who asked how my day was going - putting some sincerity to the tone of his voice. This was a very pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this Kwik Star.

Here's a pick of me enjoying my fine brewed Karuba (love it) coffee with a great song for the road.)

Unprecedented customer service! Lost Jabra85t BT headphones in the case. I informed the staff and they located them, called me, and returned them! 👏

First time at this new location.

Kwik Star has TOP TIER gas and is my primary place to fill up.

Kwik Star's regularly run gas discount promotions:
New store openings are $0.10 off/gal the first week.
$.04 off/gal if you show a HyVee fuel saver card.
$0.05 off/gal discount every 15 stops.
Random events: $0.08 off/gal on 88 octane, cents off promos for purchasing items in the store, etc.

Car washes are $7 on holidays and they regularly have sales on 10-packs for $70. The car wash at this location is only open 7AM-10PM due to Polk City's city ordinance.

Convenient with competitive prices. They carry some grocery items and have a great bakery and hot food selection. Staff friendly and helpful.

They have better food then kum & go and Casey's anymore. You can make your own smoothie's or cold coffee's and good gas

Save your money, shop here. Go here for meats, sides, ice, and gas. I hold fareway in high regard but I would've saved more money shopping here for steaks and potatoes.

Huge selection of ready-to-eat food and also a lot of grocery items. Convenient in/out on the corner of Parker Blvd. and Bridge Road.
