Habanero's

I’m so glad this restaurant is on Drake’s campus! :) I always have such a great time here. The staff is very friendly and have great memory.

We had a great time here! The blended magaritas were awesome. My chile verde with rice and beans were super flavorful and hot as well. Prices are quite steep for Mexican food, but I come to expect that in the Drake area. Overall great spot for Drake students, and great food with many options.

Highly recommend!

This place has some great Mexican food! Chicken nachos were loaded with chicken and my wife loved the chicken tacos. Bean dip and very good as well.

I was greeted with a smile, chips and Salsa.

I ordered a number 7. 1 Beef Enchilada, 1 Tamale, rice and beans on the side. Really delicious.

I'm a stickler for great rice. My grandmother Nasha was from Mexico and made the best rice and this place has relatively good rice. Made just right.

Since we used to live 3 houses away, we have eaten at Habanero's a lot, and we've never had a bad experience there. The food is always fresh and hot, their margarita's are among the best in town, and the service is 1st class because most of their wait staff has been the for years! We stop every time we're in the neighborhood!

We got REALLY full from eating here! One of the plates were 1/3 full. My girlfriend got full before finishing her dinner. My nachos were just an appetizer, but I added extra beef to mine. The meal was GREAT!!!

The food is good. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered a combo. #5.
It's sad that the prices have increased by $2 and some items should not have increased.

Great addition to the Drake neighborhood for a great place to eat at or get food to take home. Service was sick and amazing, food is always delicious and fulfilling. Atmosphere is good for all that want to watch sports, or shows for adults or kids. They're so respectful and helpful when you need help deciding what to eat and always recommend something that will hit the spot.

Got our food in 10 minutes and it was great! You can tell they have good food when they have food salsa.

The best thing to happen to the west side of Drakes campus in forever, I adore their fajita quesadilla and margaritas! Service is always fast and great too.

The tacos are spectacular. You’re cheating yourself if you haven’t tried the secret hot sauce.

Fast service and good food. My draft beer stayed good and cold even though it took a while to drink. I only had an appetizer, the nachos habanero, and it filled me up.

The food was delicious, authentic Mexican food. The service was great, all smiles and great attitudes. Recommend it.

Had takeout for dinner, and loved the food. All of the staff were wearing masks, and pickup was easy.

This was the best service we have ever experienced! They had our food out less than 10 minutes of us ordering. The food was phenomenal! We definitely will be back!

The food here is incredibly delicious. Better than anywhere else I have eaten as far as Mexican resauraunts go. Good drinks too. Been back 6 times in one month since I tried it for the first time. Dominga is always working and she is great treats us like family everytime.

Surprisingly large portions! Great value and food was delicious.
