Papa's Pizzeria

I have never had anything bad to say about this place. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Pizza is one of my favorites in Iowa to eat.

Pizza was perfect. We came from Texas to visit our daughter and grandchildren. Back home, we have pizza places everywhere. I would choose this one over everyone with the exception of one hometown family owned pizzeria.

tasty pizza the sauce was delicious. the apps are great, tried the fries and onion rings both were crispy and a must try.

Best service we've had in a very long time, anywhere! Kate Jackson went above and beyond. Rings came out quick and hot. Frosted mug with my beer. Order was correct, came out fast and everything tasted awesome. Ask for Kate next time you go, you won't be sorry.

We were headed over to camp at Saylorville and had one of those days where one thing after another delayed us.

As the husband turned into the campground, I headed in over to Papa’s in Polk City and stopped long enough m, around 8:00 pm, to put in a to go order, they said about 15 minutes and they were spot on.

Food was piping hot even after the 10/15 minute drive back.

Delicious food, huge servings and the employees were very nice.

I ordered the cavatelli that came with a salad and two big pieces of garlic bread.

The salad is loaded with black olives, red onion, tomatoes and cheese.

The Mr ordered the sausage sandwich that is loaded with Graziano Italian sausage and covered in mozzarella cheese and came with fries.

Plenty of meat to make two sandwiches and zero complaints from the benefactor on his menu selection tonight.

Highly recommended!

We came in with a decent sized group for lunch and the service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent!! This is one of the must visit spots in Polk City - well worth the drive from any surrounding communities!!

Great pizza with more of a savory sauce. The place is clean and well kept. The room does get loud when they are busy, so conversations are more challenging.

The BEST pizza ever! I can't wait to try another and their pasta! Very casual atmosphere. Our server was excellent. Perfect attention, not over the top like so many places (where they come by so many times you get tired of nodding with your mouth full) They offer an excellent selection of craft beers on tap, along with all of the domestic, tap and bottle. Did I mention BEST pizza ever?!?!

Staff was friendly and gave us recommendations. The food was great. I had the pizza, and others had the pasta, and we all loved it.

I really debated on 4 or 5 stars but I quickly realized that it needed to be 5 stars and here is why... The pizza is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the ownership really cares. I have eaten here several times and all but once was perfect. What ended up making it perfect is when I reached out to ownership about my issue, they responded promptly and cared about what I had to say and took immediate action to fix the situation. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I would imagine that you will be reviewing at a 5 star level too!
