Shops At Roosevelt

I always get my hair cut at the barber shop here. There are usually four barbers, so it doesn't take long even though they don't take appointments. The owner keeps track of who is up next (although some patrons wait for their favorite barber).
The Roosevelt Barber shop now requires an appointment. They have a website that allows the patrons to make their appointments online. It's even more convenient to get your haircut there.

Very convenient place. Nice to have a liquor store like this close to the apartment. Good selection of beer and liquor. They do not open till noon on a Sunday. I believe that's because R call can't be sold in Kansas before noon. Which seems freaking ridiculous. Staff is helpful and friendly. And joy shopping in this place for some beers on a Thursday night

i love this place so much, la mie is wonderful, there’s a small crystal shop called be. and it’s gorgeous, i’ve been going to the juice co for almost four years, and i just love the entirety of the roosevelt shops.

My sister and I had gone to a Drs appointment and stopped at a smoothie place to get something cold to drink before finishing our errands.Its a nice place lots of choices to choose from.I highly recommend stopping by and getting a smoothie.

The Cheese Shop! Wow! What a fantastic place to eat! I loved the cherry wine, the fig spread, the cheese expert and the knowledge. Can't wait to go back!

There are many great shops and restaurants in this area. We regularly enjoy La Mie on Saturday mornings. Fantastic place to enjoy part of your day

Looks like a dingy strip mall. Hides an amazing bakery, the best stocked cheese shop in town with a decent wine selection, and a vinegar, oil, liqueur shop.

Will DEFINITELY visit here again!!! Clean friendly atmosphere. Relaxing and enjoyable.

This is just a fantastic little nook of Des Moines. Something for everyone. Plus Iowa IV keeps everyone hydrated!

I come here for the Juice Company and that is it...I don't care if it's 20min away. The Juice Company is Awesome...try the Aloha
