National Car Rental

I don't remember the name of the man that helped me on 9/29 at 1am, but he was incredible. Well after closing time, I was thrilled to see that they had stayed late to accommodate our late flight and that they had my car ready to do. Smiling and helpful, they had me on my way in 3 minutes.

Returning the car was just as easy. Cheerful and experienced Jake asked me a few questions and got me on my way.

Really appreciate this as my first intro to Iowa. Nice work, National team.

Our flight was delayed and came in late, like 11 pm. There were about 20 people in line to get a car. The two individuals behind the counter stayed very calm and got us all through and out to our cars as quickly as they could. I had a very good experience and with the large number of people we were taken care of in a friendly way. Very satisfied.

I have rented with this National already twice in 2024 and both of my drop off experiences were very pleasant. Thomas and George, I believe, both young men. It is refreshing to receive good customer service.

The checkout was seamless and super fast. Car was super clean. The crew at the car return was very friendly and fast. From arriving at the return check point to walking into the airport took less than 5min. Highly recommended!

My flight was severely delayed, and I was afraid that I would not be able to pick up my rental car because the airport counter closes at 11:30pm. Well, knowing that my flight was going to be late the National Rental Agents stayed late to make sure that I was able to get my vehicle. I really appreciated that! National has my vote.

I have used National for years now and they rarely disappoint. Most recently in Des Moines we rented a car and the young man at the counter was terrific. We were in and out quickly and got a great svu for our weekend.

My experience with National Rental Car is always positive. The staff is friendly and helpful in every location I visit.

As an Emerald Club member you get bypass the counter, walk out to select the car of your choice, show your license upon exiting the airport. Easy, efficient, no hassle and fast. Same upon returning to the airport. Drop the car and the final invoice is emailed to you. The car selection is great and are always clean and in great operating condition.

Smooth transaction. Good car. Clean. Good work. Improved inventory would be my only suggest but it's DSM so understandable.

The representative took extra measures to ensure I received the appropriate safe vehicle for my use, with a functioning GPS /Navigation system. My job requires I travel to many remote destinations, and I am lost without navigation. The representative went out in the cold to check the vehicle personally.

Des Moines National Car has been great to me 2yrs running.

National Car is very service oriented and this rental was no exception. The GMC SUV was very comfortable and had good gas mileage. The storage capacity was also good. We drove the vehicle for over 3000 miles with no issues at all.
