La Villa Mexican Restaurant

I don't have much to say except Steak Mexicano! I got into town towards close but everyone was still very friendly and accommodating. The service was fast, the steak was delicious, and the spicy salsa was spicy but also very tasty and salted perfectly (easy top 3 best spicy salsas I've had). Chips were a little old, but like I said it was the end of the day and the salsa really surprised me - 5 stars across the board.

Our favorite Mexican Restaurant. We usually have 8 or more people. Love the towers and drive from out of town. Good price good food and good service!!!

Food is always hot and fresh and the right price

La villa is my absolute favorite restaurant for Mexican food. They started in Carlisle a few years back and my family has been going ever since. The food is always great and the staff is friendly. I don't drink much but the rest of my family very much likes their margaritas and let me say, they are not small.

Great food, great service, family friendly, and always my first recommendation when it comes to Mexican food. Most meals are around $8-12 too and there's generally a drink deal, so you aren't breaking the bank to go out either.

Food was delicious, great flavor!! We had a large table (9), with picky eaters and the staff was very friendly providing great service and everyone left very happy and full. Some of the best mexican food we've had. Highly recommend and we'll be back when we're traveling through again.

Great place to eat and wonderful service

Food was very good. Service was good. Margarita was tasty. Didn't have enough room to put our entire group together but we had extra show up and they didn't know about it until about 45 minutes before we got there.

Best Mexican food on the south side, hands down. Owner can still regularly be found cooking in the kitchen.

I absolutely love this place!! The food is amazing! My go to is the Quesadilla Chicken Tips, a margarita, and of course Queso and chips. The salsa is great as well! Everything is fairly priced and your food comes out quickly! All of the servers are very nice. My friend and I go there often, we love it!! If you have not given this place a try, I suggest you do so!! They also do to go orders!!

We were a party of three ladies traveling from Des Moines. It was getting late and we were starving. We were hesitate to get off the main highway at night and this is in a dark, industrial looking part of town. No worries! There are several bar & grill restaurants located on the short strip. They were all well attended on Saturday night. La Villa has a large, authentic menu. We tried three different dinner selections. All were well prepared and tasty. This is home- style Mexican, not fine dining, but a definite jewel for a small town. They have all the classic dishes, ample seating and a small bar too. This will be a regular stop for me now.

Excellent food! The waiters/waitresses have never gotten my order wrong! The longest I had to wait for food was around 30 minutes, but that was because it was packed and there was a party of about 12. Good prices too!

Service and food excellent. Nice atmosphere and easy menu scan for your protection. Very clean and sanitized by employees immediately after leaving booth. Social distancing of booths implemented.
