Tacos La Barca D.C

We got birria tacos and a few carne asada tacos and baybee... They are 🔥 all of them! We came home and smashed and we got a side of their birria and its fantastic too. They even brought it to the car. My new favorite place!

I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you want the best tacos ever you go here!!! The Birria taco is out of the world

Originally from NJ, when visiting IA this is the ONLY place I go for my birria tacos!! OMG!! Phenomenal!!!! Must try!! Service is also great!! You won’t regret!!

Got there like minutes from close after ordering 7 tacos 40 minutes prior. I called when google said they closed 9. Its 9:30 by the way they close at 930. Food was excelent, service was top notch. 7 birria tacos for $21-24. Worth every penny.

Really amazing pastor! Super awesome girl with nice kids running this spot. She had no problem doing half n half of meats for my torta! Ima come here everyday if I have the money Hahahaha. They take card as well. Much love!

Best Birria I’ve ever had and probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in Des Moines. I will keep the rating at a 5 because of the food, which is what matters BUT the first time I went there, the girl that helped me and my friend was so rude. My friend asked what they would reccomend and she said “I don’t know, what do you want” my friend then asked if they ate the food there and all 3 workers just laughed in his face and didn’t respond. I asked if they had consome and I was ignored. They only have consome on weekends I found out later from other reviews. The other times I went there, the service was pretty good so whatevs.

Birria and al pastor tacos were delicious! Comes with simple topping options of onion, cilantro, and optional cheese. Definitely try the hot sauce and broth to dip in! Owner was very friendly and didn't mind chatting with us. A little pricey at $2.50 per taco but the taste was well worth it. Would recommend.

I love the asada tacos here. The consomme served on Saturday and Sunday makes the tacos godly when you dip them. I have been to many different trucks and this one is my favorite. The tacos just seem to have a bit more time and love. The consomme I have not been able to find anywhere else. This is a Gem!

Me and my husband have visited several tacos places around Des Moines in search of good tacos to make us feel at home. This by far has been the best tacos we have had..ever. We had never had birria before and let me tell you that this place has set a pretty high standard. Ever since finding this taco truck, we’ve been loyal customers as we are afraid that any other place would disappoint us. I’ve tried all their tacos and all are equally as tasty. Not to mention, their service is always so friendly! Do your self a favor and try this place!!

I had my first birria tacos in Topeka kansas and ever since I've been trying to find a place that comes close. Decided to take a gamble with la barca and it was fantastic. I ordered 4 birria tacos 4 steak and a large consome. The truck looks alittle dicey but don't let that stop you. the food is amazing and the staff is really nice. It's definitely the best taco truck on 14th.

Birra Tacos here are AMAZING… It doesn’t matter how far I have to drive or the weather - we call their Birra Tacos “HEAVEN tacos” for a reason. I’ve tried other places around and they don’t even slightly compare to this place!

We drove 30 mins based off the reviews to try this place - the birra tacos were the BEST I’ve had - and I have traveled a lot. By far my new fav, just try them. You will end up writing a rave review! Seriously SO GOOD!

The best birria in town I’d have to say! Never had an issue here as well it being better then any restaurant I’ve been to. The green sauce is also AAAMMAZZING
