La Prima Tazza is an awesome coffee shop!

I really enjoy the tasty flavors of coffee they have. Always presented very artfully... Speaking of art, they feature local artists as well! The pottery I found there was from a local fella. Really beautiful stuff.

The baristas are always kind, and friendly.

The place itself is rather small, with limited seating, but the giant windows really let in some happy natural light, and allow for some quality people watching of Mass Street.

They do sell various types of bulk coffee, and often have a snack or two of baked good by the register.

While on vacation I ha e been here twice already. Yeah, it's that good. They have sugar free flavors and the coffee itself is super yummy and not bitter at all. I got a sugar free hazelnut iced latte which was AMAZING with flavor! I got the sugar free vanilla latte iced today. It was so good, but I gotta say the hazelnut was off the charts good. The staff was friendly and attentive and make great coffee with a smile.

I love stopping by whenever I can. I don’t even drink coffee, most of the time I order a hot chocolate. The atmosphere reminds me so much of when I lived in Italy and I feel so comfortable studying at this cafe! Staff are so patient with my indecisiveness and they all seem so cool.

I've been coming here for 20 years. It's my home. So take my five-star review as coming from a loyalist. Mostly, I just want to say that if you've left a review here because you're cranky that you were told to buy something or get out -- man, you're telling on yourself. Entitled children!

La Prima Tazza is my favorite spot for coffee in Lawrence. The baristas are always kind, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is cute and cozy. Great study or book reading spot. Cute dog named Noodles may occasionally saunter over to you for a quick pet. My only thing is that they have got to figure out the fly problem. Every time I’m there I am swatting them away. Would still give 5 stars, but this is definitely something needing attention. Love y’all 🫶🏼

The specialty lattes were amazing. We had the Morrocan and the Cocoa Cloud. Very reasonable prices, and great selection. They also offer drip coffee and use Oddly Correct coffee. Live plants in from window. Great music playing in the background.

Cozy atmosphere and great selection of beans. It definitely feels like specialty coffee. The Ethiopian cold brew is so flavorful that I didn’t even consider adding any sugar or sweeteners. A+ customer service and coffee knowledge.

Great coffee shop in Lawrence. The Indonesian is my favorite but everything I've ordered has been good! I like that they give you a discount if you bring in your own mug.

Best coffee and most consistent service in town. I love the discount for bringing your own cup, to encourage recycling. Coffee with a conscience , my favorite in Lawrence no doubt.

I'm pleased every time I come here, the staff is super friendly, the coffee is fantastic every time. It's hard sometimes to find a seat, but it's a top-tier study spot if you can find a table.

One of the best coffee shops in town. Super friendly, and incredibly competent. They have a great selection of coffee if you just want to buy some to take home as well.

Where locals grab their coffee. They have creative spins on a lot of different drinks and the staff as well as the patrons are friendly. It's the only place in town that has sugar free white chocolate as a flavor (I need my sugar fix in my lattes, but would prefer it not go to my rear end). I've never had a bad coffee here. Pro tip: bring your own mug as they'll give you 25% off your beverage.

Favorite coffee shop in Lawrence. Love all the plants in the windows and the rotating art on display. Iced Grasshopper is my personal favorite drink on their menu, consistently delicious!

Came to La Prima Tazza to check out an art exhibit they were hosting for Free State High School and was very impressed. I got The Alexander which is a coffee drink with some spices added and it was heavenly. The atmosphere is comfy and quirky, would be a great place to get some work done or just chill with some friends. I will definitely be returning soon!

Nice little (emphasis on little) local coffee shop. And they have non coffee options which is great for me :) I like how they have a bunch of outlets to charge stuff too and even though it’s small there’s a lot of seating. Intimate relaxing little setting.

One of my favorite coffee places since 1990. My friends and I would go get coffees and study there when I was a grad student. Always awesome to go back.

Quite the menu of espresso handcrafted beverages. I don't think i've ever seen such a well thought out variety in a cafe before. We tried two different beverages and they were delightful. Felt safe re:COVID as well.

Perfect place to study and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere - not super cold, either, which I really appreciate in coffee shop. I like it when they're cozy. :) I recommend the "Moroccan"!
