Smooth Moves (A You First Company)

Very pleased at every level.
This was a rather complex move as I was navigating it from long distance and not totally familiar with the area.
I felt confident from the get-go. Brittany was my primary contact and she was excellent to work with: friendly, personable (actually cared), readily available, competent, patient.
The process with Smooth Moves was albeit seamless.

Expertly packed a 26' uHaul truck that I had rented for a move. I would never have gotten everything into the truck. But they did! Skyler was very professional and the whole crew worked fast and efficiently.

I just moved today and everything went so well!! Faster and under what we thought! From the moment I worked with Abby on the phone I have been very pleased. She is informative, friendly and responds quickly.
My movers Dylan and Travis worked hard and fast and were very careful with my things! They figured out the perfect placement of my items in storage and with room available!! Way to go!! They were also very good at communicating with me!

From our free estimate to our actual move Smooth Moves was nothing but professional. Mitch came for the estimate and answered all of our questions and gave us very clear expectations. He was very informative on what could and could not go on trucks, as well as, what needed to be done in preparation 24 hours in advance of the move.
On the day of the move the expected number of movers and trucks showed up on time. We did our walk through of our home, a game plan was formed and the rest was history. They were extremely efficient and extremely careful with our property. Upon arrival at our new home we walked through and explained where everything needed to be placed. They got everything in the house and asked us several times if we wanted things rearranged.
We had a four person moving team. Every single one of them was very friendly and professional. Our scheduled 9 hour move took 7 hours and 15 minutes!. If we were to move again, I would hire them in a heartbeat.

Initial walk through and service was fantastic. Moving day went very smoothly! Movers were very careful with our things, (both from our old home and walls/floors/doors, etc in our new home). They were also very polite and friendly, and I could tell both movers cared about doing a great job. Would 100% recommend!!

I've worked with quite a few companies over time, and they've largely been very good. Smooth Moves however changed all that, and stood far above the rest of the crowd. From scheduling to the final boxes, they were organized, responsive, efficient and very experienced with any/all moving needs. First class and the only company I will ever use/recommend in the future. Thank you team for making a stressful time very easy!

Got a dresser and a metal bunk bed(that was already into section pieces) moved about 16 minutes away from the pick up location. With drive time included, these guys got it all done just minutes shy of an hour! Base price for two hours. My sister and I moved absolutely everything that we could before I searched around for a moving business. I knew I would need one for this heavy dresser— great experience for my first time using any moving business. Super professional, super quick, highly recommend! Thank you all!

This really IS the company you want to use for your move. They exceeded my expectations.

We sold two houses this summer and consolidated into one, so we actually used Smooth Moves two times. The excellent service we got the first time was no fluke...it was just as good for our second move.

A friend recommended Smooth Moves to us and we were so impressed with Mitchell's responsiveness, patience with all our questions, and clear explanations of what they could do for us and what it would cost that we decided to skip getting a bid from anyone else.

When Skylar and Day-Lon arrived (on time) on the morning of our move, they were professional, cheerful (even singing and laughing as they worked), fast, efficient and careful...and remained that way all day long. (10 hours!!) They worked together well and turned the day I had been dreading into a pleasure. Everything arrived safely and intact.

As a specific example of how dedicated Skyar and Day-Lon were...when a large, heavy massage chair wouldn't fit through the door, they carried it around the house and up a flight of stairs to see if they could get it through a sliding door. When it still wouldn't fit, my husband suggested they could leave it on the deck and he'd figure out later how to remove an arm so it would fit through the door. But they wouldn't hear of it! They weren't looking for an easy way out; Skylar was determined that they'd get that chair into the house for us. And they did!

Naturally, we asked for Skylar and Day-Lon for our second move, too. This time they were joined by Ricky and Chris. The team of four worked just as effectively as the original team. They worked HARD, but with such joy that it permeated the whole experience. And when I changed my mind about where I wanted a chair and Day-Lon caught me dragging it to a new location, he jumped right in and said, "No! Let me get that!" And so I did!

For both our moves, it was a pleasure to be working alongside these men from Smooth Moves. What more can you ask from a moving team?!

I highly recommend Smooth Moves if you are needing moving services. Steve was super easy to work with and was flexible when trying to find the best day and time for the move. On moving day, Skyler and Davion were 30 minutes early, super positive, upbeat, friendly and professional. We were amazed at how fast and efficiently they worked. When all was said and done they had moved everything out of one house into the other in almost half the time we expected. So they were finished ahead of time and under budget! Everything was perfect and nothing got damaged!

We were a little hesitant to have a company move our stuff BUT extremely happy after using SMOOTH MOVES. Not only was it smooth but the 2 guys (Skylar and Davion) were awesome. Did an awesome job, we’re friendly and best of all left both places without any damage or mess. Steve was also very pleasant to deal with and gave a fair honest quote. They were very efficient and even came in under the quote. I probably won’t ever move again “knock on wood” but if I do. I will be using smooth moves. I plan on referring them to anyone that needs help moving. We received quotes from about 30 places and smooth moves was not only competitive but no bogus charges and like stated above were actually cheaper than expected. This company is well ran. Great job guys!

These guys are awesome!! Made the moving process very easy. The movers were fun and professional. Moving day is always a little crazy but they worked with us around our schedule and were very understanding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone!

The guys at smooth moves arrived early and worked hard the entire time. They were willing to move our items in to where we wanted them. Their pricing was reasonable compared to what I was quoted by other companies. The only thing I would’ve liked to know ahead of time is that they don’t load boxes that aren’t closed or don’t have a lid. I would recommend them to anyone!

We were beyond pleased with the service, attention to detail and the courtesy the staff showed as we moved to our new home. They were quick and careful moving our furniture. My dad, a retired farmer, said he would hire them in a minute because they worked so hard. We would strongly recommend using Smooth Moves.

After my father died we had to move all of his stuff out of his apartment to various locations pretty quickly and the guys at Smooth Moves made everything so much easier. They were flexible, fast, and very kind. I found myself continually impressed with their performance throughout the entire move and I can't recommend them enough.

Additionally, even though they were performing a lot of physical labor, they were very conscious about keeping their masks on the entire time they were working with us, which is appreciated during Covid19 times.

Smooth Moves did an awesome job helping us move! They were polite, professional, considerate, and clean! The cared for our belongings as though they were treasures and were very fast! I can't believe how quickly everything went. Pricing was competitive as well. I highly recommend them! In the past we have used Two Men and A Truck and Almighty Movers-both were okay, but paled in comparison to Smooth Moves. I would absolutely call Smooth Moves first!

Smooth Moves has moved my Dad twice. They answer the phone on the first try, send a confirmation email immediately, show up on time, professionally dressed and pleasant. They go the extra mile and are quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them and will use them every time!!
