Visited the splash pad. It was clean and well maintained as well as the female bathroom. They provide free lunch to school age children and have a parks and rec monitor there to make sure rules are followed and the place is safe for all. Definitely enjoyed visiting with my Littles. Perfect place for 12 and under.

We went later in the day, was sprinkling but as soon as we arrived the rain drops had stopped. My son is an only child and the other kids that were there were very polite and friendly played with my son. The other parents seemed very nice and it wasn't so crowded. Perfect amount of people and kids!

Never have problems finding parking even though the parking lot isn't huge. Water feature is nice, plenty of places to find shade, shelter is big, bathrooms fairly clean, playground and swings are great for the kids.

Always fun unless overcrowded

A great park with an awesome splash pad. The rubberized padding under the playground is really nice and well maintained. The walking trail is also well-maintained and nice to walk on. There is usually ample parking space both on and off-street.

Take my grandkids there all the time nice place to cool down in the splash pad! BBQ hot dogs and have a good time! Do wish the play ground was for everyone little children have a hard time playing on it and always hot to the touch watch for burns!

Disc golf, playground, pavillion, tennis, and a constant flooded river adjacent to the park. (Separated by a dyke) The park is always well groomed and has city events frequently.

Adjacent to the Central Iowa Bike Path.

A good place to take the kids or go for a picnic.

This is a beautiful little park off SE 14th Street that has basketball courts, a disc gold course, a playground, a shelter area, and a splash pad. it is also accessible by the bike path. A lot going on for such a small area.

It's a beautiful Park. I haven't seen my kids for 18 months and they love the park we all had a good time there

Super fun easy 9 hole disc golf course! It's funner than hard courses cause you don't lose your discs in woods or water

I am proud to say I live in Des Moines. The city is doing amazing maintening good parks around. We just need to be concious and help when we visit them.

Nice little park for kids. They had an obstacles course like atmosphere, love the soft play ground. Also covered shelter house and disk golf!

Great splash pool with play ground equipment. It was our first time visiting and we will be back for sure!

I love the wading pool. It was so tefreshing, and even with a lot of people there, it was tame. I even saw a 9 month old enjoying his first pool experience. It was a blast.
