I didn't know this was here until a week ago and I've lived my whole life here! Great place for walking or if you have kids or grandkids. Nice little playground with a nice track around it

Great place for young kids to meet up. Nice playground equipment and nicely kept track. Cleaner than other city parks I've been to.
No restroom per se but there is a porto potty.

Kirn Park is the former site of Council Bluffs High School which stood at this location from 1875 till 1908. In later years it became Kirn Field where junior and senior high school sports events were held. Today, various sports events are still held in what's now known as Kirn Park. Plus, there's children's playground equipment. It's a very historic and beautiful place.

Daughter loves it. People should lash their dog/s. It's NOT cute when your dog is loose running up to ppl and children.

I. try to walk the track a mile there at least 5 times a week. I went to the old Kirn Jr. High. For gym we had to run to Kirn park. Much more enjoyable now.

Excellent place to run, walk, play sports in the middle of the track and a playground for the little ones. Portable restrooms set up 3 out of 4 seasons. Off street parking.

Great, quiet park. Very peaceful. I just wish they could get rid of the late-night vandals. It's almost too secluded. Cameras would help a lot.

Excellent place to walk/run. Old high school football field with crushed brick track that is still maintained by the city.

This is a nice older football field with a small park. Great historic neighborhood.
