Super Saver, Council Bluffs

This grocery store is one of my favorite places to shop. It has a very nostalgic feel to it. The staff is usually nice and the store is kept clean. I've been going here for the past 20 years ever since I moved from the East Coast.

Super Saver isn't the same ol no frills grocery store it used to be. They've expanded the store and changed/updated the feel and vibe and look inside...it's a much nicer place to shop nowadays than it was years ago...give it a try!

I was surprised by all the fun Valentine's Day options, fresh food, amazing produce, clean store. The employees here are fun and friendly. Best place to shop for meat, produce and fresh baked bakery items.

Mainly needed Rhodes frozen bread and they carry it...they have a great gluten free section with bread, crackers and sweets

I wish there were more super savers and less Walmarts they have a great selection their produce is superior prices most reasonable worked here years ago will always be their customer.

I love this store. Its corporate but feels like a mom and pa store. Prices are just phenomenal. Only problem i see is, they do need more baskets.

I have shopped here for many years. Great deals, bulk foods, and lots of alcohol.

I order a cake for my kiddos birthday and it turned out beautifully! I couldn’t stop looking at it! Thank you

This facility offers a range of items. Spirits, beer, wine, many foods commonly seen, some not so much. Very pleasant people to assist you if you need help.

Fresh vegetables and a verity!you can't get at other markets! Nice staff. And it's clean!.I just wish they post when they cook their ribs.

Can’t say enough great things about their catering department. We worked with Lisa and the manager Matt for a funeral luncheon. They were very helpful and responsive. I would recommend them to anyone needed to feed an event. Thank you for making our day go smoothly and working with Hoy Kilnoski seamlessly.

I have always worked and shopped hyvee since shopping instalation I have larnd to love this store. Their system is old-school. No app to search an item but large printed cards laminated and hanging at the end of each isle. If u get frustrated with the loud advertisements the employees dependence on apps to even the most basic items this store is great. A true community grocery store they support their community and even the teenager are knowledgeable and eager to help I especially enjoy how knowledgeable the youn ones are in the meet department I haven't met the manager but they all know the difference between cuts hav genial idea of what to recommend Mayne not how to actually cook it because thy never have but someone has taken the time to teach these kids about he store and not just given them a bo and an app told to fill the shelf.

Clean and super friendly. Helpful. Great sales too!

Friendly night staff.. they are always friendly and I noticed there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover of the staff.
So good Job Management making that happen - its always nice to see familiar faces in the neighborhood stores..
It's also nice they are open until midnight like they were PRE-Covid. I Wish all the other stores went back to their old hours. And then the BBox stores could hire full time employees again, instead of everyone post-covid having to work 2 part-time jobs so they don't have to give benefits anymore. The unemployment rate is not at its lowest in decades like that admin. States.. It's just that each person is working 2 P/T jobs to make one 40 hr. Work week. And w their new 10am-9pm hrs. That's 1/2 the positions to fill. It's smoke & mirrors..I digress

This place is the best! They've got the nicest staff there! And they always have a great selection of meat! I love going to the store they have great prices and it never takes long to check out. It always seems like there's an open line and you can just get right out when you're done shopping!

I love this store, not only the deli. My favorite chicken in Council, but the prices, you can rest assured that they are fair and equal

Clean place and employees willing to go out of their way to assist you. This is an "old school" grocery store. Meaning the employees there respect their customers and are grateful for them. The deli is excellent and the prices are fair.

I was hungry when I got there and everyone knows you shouldn't buy groceries while you are hungry so I ate at the little corner Deli they have going on and the food was surprisingly delicious! I then went about buying what I truly needed but I have to tell you; it was hard to pass up any of the fantastic produce they have that was so fresh and priced so reasonably!! The rest of my trip went smoothly and as planned. You do have to bag your own groceries but that is a small price to pay considering their prices and nice selection of just about everything!! Well done Super Saver!! 👍

Nice clean store. Prices are good, wide selection. They take recycling, pharmacy and their bakery is really good. Great tasting little pizzas in the deli area.
