Iowa State Fair Grandstand

I don't think there is a bad seat at this venue. We were second section from the back and we could see and hear perfectly and comfortably. It's absolutely phenomenal. Audio is spectacular, and the fireworks are crazy. Saw Kane Brown perform 2022 and he was amazing. Will definitely look forward to attending more shows in the future.

A great venue to watch a show at the fair. They bring in some great acts. My favorite locations are in the center in the first set of stands or on the ground. You can bring your food and drinks from the fair in, but there are beer and food sites inside.

Always a good time and lots to see. Shows at the grandstand were as good as any other venue. The concert the final day had an uninvited guest. A curious Raccoon was in the grandstand seating. Causing a bit of excitement. It's Iowa and must roll with the wild life!
This year started off in a crazy fashion. While the grandstand stage was being set up. One of the crane operators decided to help wrangle a bull that had gotten loose. On his lunch break he thought he would help out, thing was that the Bull decide to fight back. The crane operator was gored by the unhappy animal. He got an unexpected trip to the emergency room.
Again have to roll with tje animals!

Took the family to see Kip Moore and Sam Hunt and then the husband and I went to All That Remains and Five Finger Death Punch. AWESOME!!!!

The rain of the night couldn't keep us away . Alanis was wonderful I've always wanted to see her perform. She did spectacular even when power went out momentarily she didn't stop . And even under canopy the vocals were still heard and understood. Only have roughly a year until we are graced again with the atmosphere of the fair . Enjoy all and I'll catch you then . BYE BYE

Brought my parents to the state fair to see the beach boys Tonight. Spent the day and had a great time. Then my dad's personal scooter broke down. I was all over until I found a couple sheriff's who were helpful with getting me two wonderful maintenance guys to help. Those guys helped us come up with a plan to not only get the scooter disassembled, but also get my truck to the gate, get myself and my parents to my truck at the gate to load it up. They helped load and everything. They then said their goal is to get us to the concert on time. We had about an hour from time they found my dad with the dead scooter. They did all that and got us to the concert ON TIME!!!. Huge shout out to those two wonderful maintenance guys. I truly cannot thank you enough. You are a blessing to us. I did not catch their names but thank you, and just know if you need help you can get it.

Keith Urban was awesome. He kept the audience engaged and involved in the concert. His set included new songs and old songs, which made a great mixture.

I love the Iowa State fair! The animals, food, all the people, stores, crafts. So many different things to do. My husband & I had one of those pictures drawn of us, such a neat memory. I love to ride on the chair lift so you can see all thats going on. my mom is 85 years old and she loves the fair too. I took her this year we had to get a motorized chair but she absolutely loved it. She said it was the best early birthday present she ever had!! I would go every single day if I could, I did do that two years in a row. Patricia Lage

Was a great time a the Iowa state fair with family had a turkey leg, and corn dog. Went through ye ol mill after having a blue moon. Went through there antiques and art buildings and bought socks at the front of grandstand if you have not been to the then go at least once in life, it will be worth it.

We had the pleasure of seeing Luke Bryan here! Fantastic show!! The grandstand had great seating. Bathrooms were easily accessed.

This was super awesome! Lots of things to do and see!

Amazing! Family was there for the Gabriel Iglesias show. Fluffy did not disappoint and neither did the Grandstand staffing. Good time!

Outstanding! Great concert! The only problem is that the chairs have no cushions, so after a bit it will become uncomfortable.

Went for a concert and it was a blast. The staff were all respectful and handled themselves well when there was a fight in the crowd. It was also very clean.

Awesome show! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The concert was awesome and the sound system is good.
Prices were fair also.
