Easter Lake Park

Easter Lake Park has a beautiful path all the way around it. We take our bikes out there all year round.

We were driving near Easter Lake, so we decided to make a stop to see the park. What a beautiful place! We really enjoyed the park area right alongside the shore of Easter Lake that is open to the public. There is a paved bike trail that circles the lake for a trip of just a little over 6 miles. There is also a gravel walking path. Lots of convenient entrances to the park area all around the lake. It was a beautiful fall day with lots of sunshine to light up the fall colored leaves. We can't wait to come back to enjoy the park soon.

The upgrades they have done over the years have made it an awesome place to go to. Only downside I have found is if you're a kayaker there is almost no where to stop and get out. They have lined pretty much the whole lake with rock/cement that will beat up your kayak if you try to get out.

What an incredible trail! 4.1 miles all the way around the lake. Really cute dog park on the trail. Black raspberries to forage when ready!!! Absolutely beautiful! Several spots to put a kayak in at, great swimming area, playground, grilling, volleyball net.

Nice little park. Not something you expect so close to downtown, bit the facilities and shelters were clean. The park was well kept and full of kids. The covered bridge is a great addition to the bike trail. We walked and fished. Explored off trail. It was a great day. Good place for fall family pictures, a pcinic, put your kayak in, or just ride your bike.

Forgot about the goats! Great improvements! About 4.5 mile loop from the Ewing dog park. Beautiful park.

A great park with a beautiful concrete path that moves smoothly around the edge of the lake. Nice picnic area and parking lots spotted around the lake.

Went to Easter Lake by the beach area for my granddaughters 6th birthday. We found a spot with 2 picnic tables and a grill, by the water. It worked out perfectly. We had a great spot which made for a great party. Also it was easy for guest to find the party. A great time was had by all

Lots of construction going on with a new beach access and boat doc. Looks like a big parking area. Should be done spring 2024. Great trail around lake

Absolutely LOVE this. I love sand and it was and always is a amazing place to escape from life.

Like Gray's Lake, but bigger and FAR less crowded. Only saw a handful of people on a chilly, but sunny Saturday morning.

Great 4.1 mile trail around the lake. The signage at the park says the Mark Ackelson trail is 6.2 miles, but that includes some out-and-back appendages of the trail. If you just follow the trail around the lake, it is 4.1 miles. Smooth pavement would be great for bikes or rollerblades.

There's a red covered bridge built in 1875 (built at a different location in Polk County and then moved here in 1965).

Lots of great fishing spots, tons of grills and picnic tables.

Love it, new and wide walkways for my two Samoyeds. Many ways to park at, but have to keep them doggys on a leach. Nice alternative to the dog park. I love to walk around Easter Lake , keeps my all white dogs that way. Many ways to go around there.

It was chosen by the daughter for a quiet, serene place to hold her Father's "Celebration of Life". We had a great turnout & a lovely view for memories!

my family absolutely loved this place not only is it an amazing place to go swimming but you can also rent boats canoes Craig cats by the hour or by the day you can take beautiful scenic walks with majestic views a very clean well-kept park for the family

There's no fish in this area of Easter Lake until sometime in August unfortunately. But the remodeling is beautiful.

Looks great after the remodel! Can't wait to swim at the beach. Water looks clear. Lots of chirping birds, very relaxing!

Awesome spot to beat the heat! Took the kids to the beach, they had a blast! We met a few friends and hung out all day grilled and let the kids swim.. Such a good time! The older kids loved the floating dock they could jump off of! Water and sand were alot cleaner than other local options! Very impressed with the new beach they've been working on, boat rentals are fairly priced and super nice! Great job guys, we will be back again very soon!!

Has alot to offer from electric bikes to rent to boats. Great beach. Clean water.
