Union Park Historic Rocket Slide

It was a lot better than I remember it. It Has a very nice splash pad. And play grounds for all ages just about.

Nice slide, but there were more kids sliding down the walkway leading to the top then there were going down the slide. So you constantly had to avoid people taking out your legs while you just tried to enjoy the slide. There is a nice little splash pool close by.

Union park is a large park with several different sets of play equipment. The rockt slide is actually several different slides in one, with smaller slides for small children, going up to the actual rocket slide for bigger kids.

The carousel here is also very nice for kids. The prices are good, and it doesn't move too fast even for small children, though the music on it can be a bit loud.

The only real downside to this park, in my opinion, is that their parking situation isn't very good during events. The lot is fairly small, and if there's a lot of people you often have to park pretty far from the play equipment, etc.

From the moment I reserved the room our concierge was so attentive, respectfully kind and thoughtful...the place was amazing... nicely done...decorated beautifully, very clean, well maintained and kept... our first visit was over all perfect can't wait to come back

Very clean, busy with several families having picnics. Was wonderful to see so many enjoying the park. Loved the carousel!

Acres of flat greenspace, pavilions, three playgrounds, a rocket slide, plenty of parking, tennis courts, a splash pad, carousel, permanent toilet and drinking facilities, and plenty of room for all the kids. (And a port o john).

What isn't to love?

Always a fun place. Brings memories back as a kid. Don't forget about the carousel there too. Union Park is a very nice park

I love this place grew up here as a kid and then my grandpa help redo the slide from top to bottom so they wouldn't tair it down.

The rocket slide park is always great. I played there when I was young. My children played there. Now my grandchildren play there.

Great park with carrosel, splash pad, rocket slide, tots play area and another play area for the little bit older kids.

Slide was pretty sweet and fast. Kids had fun. Plenty of space to run around.

My grandfather helped rebuild/remodel this park when I was a kid in the 90's but I've been going here since I was born and take my kids to it whenever I get the chance.

Love the rocket slide! it's an icon! and they've done some upgrades 😃
