Great Clips

I come here regularly for a high and tight haircut. They get it right every time and go a step further and offer a rinse. My only gripe is check-in online, which is not on par. That is not their fault. Other than the online times being off. Great haircut and stylist.

Although I live in Ankeny I chose to use the Johnston location for my haircut. I could check in online and get in faster than I could at either Great Clips near me. The stylist listened to me and gave me the cut I was looking for.

Mark is a true professional, I have been letting him only cut my hair for years! He helps me with guidance of hair products! Mark is as good as good gets! Great Clip's is lucky to have him!

Been to this location twice to get my daughter's, my husband's and my hair done and both times left satisfied. The people there are super down to earth and courteous. They were patient with both kids. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get in a chair. They're quick and efficient.

Ashley gave me a complete new haircut last Saturday. Best haircut ever! I wake up in the morning, fluff and go. I took my Mom to this location a couple weeks ago and Nikki did a fabulous job for her as well! I would recommend Great Clips!

I brought my two-year-old grandson to get a haircut at the Johnston location. I wasn't sure if he would sit for the cut or not. I've brought him to salons before and he didn't like it at and wouldn't sit still. I've never been to a Great Clips before. The reason I chose it was because of their "walk-in" policy.

We walked in and were greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist who immediately began engaging my grandson in conversation. My grandson was very apprehensive, although he did respond favorably to her overtures.

Mark had time to cut my grandson's hair and was amazing with him. He put a lot of effort into making the experience fun and seemless. He had my grandson laughing and enjoying the experience. In addition, Mark really listened to how I wanted his hair cut.

We will definitely go back to the Johnston location; and specifically ask for Mark.

Teresa was awesome with my son who has sensory issues. Very patient with him and made sure his hair looked nice. She also cut my hair on the same day but different trip.

Very quick and prompt service, even though I was a walk-in. Kim was very careful to be sure she knew what I wanted (important when you're going from mid-back to pixie!) She did a very high quality haircut on my difficult head of hair.
