Goldmine Bar & Grill

The food was just as good as promised by the reviews I read. Service was quick and prices very reasonable. My husband and I both ordered the breakfast burrito and I noticed that his had more steak in it. I also wouldn't have been mad if it were a bit larger, but even so I would still call the price fair just based on the excellent flavor and good service.

Another thing I appreciated was the sign in the bathroom about assault and consent, and I would come back here again because of that even if the food wasn't great. Thanks Goldmine!

My coworker and I was looking for a great place to eat. The waitress there accommodated and cooked for us. It was great.

It's a dive bar, but one of my favorite places for breakfast. Good prices & good food. Pancakes are thick & fluffy! Service has always been great.

Was invited to breakfast as part of a group of 19/20 this morning. Hadn't been in the place since I lived up the street 40 years ago. Loved it. Food was great. Service even better. Hats off to the chefs for a yeoman's effort. Food came out surprisingly soon and it just kept flowing. Mine was so fresh that items were hot, not warm. Thanks. I'll be back.

If you like big breakfast, bloody Mary's, and a dive bar atmosphere, this is THE place!!! I'll be back, for sure.

My first visit and it was fun. They were playing a game, it sounded and looked like fun. We were invited back to take part in this weekly event.
Although I doubt I would go alone bc there was a male customer who kept bothering me. I am just not interested in any hooking up, nor do I play 50 questions with anybody.

They go out of there way to make your experience a good one.
Had a friend in from Florida during the Trump rally in CB, everything was closed. I called them on a whim to see if their grill was still open ( we were starving after all that excitement) lol.
Unfortunately, they had just closed. I told them my story of needing to feed us, and they graciously agreed to hold it open for me and my exhausted friends.
Only in the Midwest will acts of kindness happen like this, needless to say, my friends were impressed that I could move mountains.. lol..(I take no claim)
It's small town hospitality and the wonderful people who never disappoint.
I have been taking friends and family to the Goldmine since 1997ish.. love, love this little hidden Gem in the foothills of Council Bluffs.

Seriously one of the best bar restaurants in town. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The waitresses and bartenders pay great attention to you and always have another cold beer or soda ready

We were traveling through town. Was disappointed the kitchen wasn't open on Sunday.. but the bartender and the locals helped us find somewhere other than a big chain restaurant to eat at!! Beer was nice and cold!! Good service as well!
