SpringHill Suites by Marriott Omaha East/Council Bluffs, IA

I stayed here for about 2 weeks working storm claims for an insurance company. The rooms are nice, clean and the beds are comfortable. I do travel a lot for work and stay in so many hotels. My one gripe is always the water pressure. Not here! Great water pressure and never runs out of hot water. The staff are all very pleasant and the location is excellent. I don't usually eat breakfast, but every other day they have scones at the front desk for the guests. Blueberry and white chocolate raspberry...delicious. If I am ever up this way again, I will be sure to book my stay here.

Other than not having usb charging ports, the hotel is very good. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean. The amenities were really good. The location is great. My only complaint was that there were no usb charging outlets. Bring charging cables that plug in to the outlet if you need to charge just about everything!

Stayed at this location, the gals at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the room was great and I slept well. After checking out I discovered that I had left my very expensive phone charger still plugged in along with the cord. When I called to see if they could retrieve it for me housekeeping informed me that there was no phone charger turned in. Needless to say a house keeper was able to score a nice fast charge phone charger at my cost. Since we used a app for the reservation I had gotten the room at a cheaper rate, but in the long run it ended up costing the same as full rate. What happened to honest people?

one of the nicest hotels we stayed at on our road trip! the staff is so friendly, and the property is exceptionally clean & cozy. we came during the holiday season and everything was decorated like it was christmas day! the breakfast was yummy and they even set out a hot cocoa bar for guests as a sweet night cap. THANK YOU 💕

Very nice and comfortable stay. The suite was very large and our family had plenty of space. Beds were comfortable as well as Sofa. The pool was open and our kids enjoyed it. Water temperature was good and had room to move and swim around. Breakfast was available. Food choices were good but it is not a full buffet style choices. Employees were helpful and friendly.

Checkin was easy and efficient. Front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff did a great job (one small touch was really appreciated by us - they lined up our girl's stuffed animal on the bed with the pillow)

Room was clean and spacious enough. Only complaint was the mini fridge was slow to cool even when set to the chill setting.

We all loved the pool area. Breakfast was typical but enjoyable.

Would not hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I go on frequent trips for my husband's work and we generally stay 3-4 days every time, so we have experienced many hotels and the hotel is the big feature of our stay.

We recently visited the SpringHill in Council Bluffs and I was blown away by the family-friendly experience we had. While my husband is working, I entertain our three very young children away from home. This is frequently very stressful, but I was easily able to book the shuttle, get them a good breakfast, and head on our way to the Omaha Zoo. The driver was able to get our big Wonderfold wagon in the back and he was so sweet and patient with my girls as we all buckled up. I called the hotel when the girls were starting to get tired to arrange pick up and our shuttle arrived around 30-40 minutes later as I requested. The front desk was so pleasant and sweet and helped my girls pick out a treat to share when we arrived back. The rooms were clean (I only gave 3 stars because they're nothing fancy) and we all got a good rest to do it again! We booked a new destination for the next day, but my girls wanted more of the zoo and the front desk and driver made the change painless. We didn't get the chance to check out the pool, but having the option is wonderful considering the other offerings. Self parking was easy for my husband and we were close to different restaurants to easily drive to dinner.

We normally opt for a "fancier" stay with a higher price tag, but this was easily one of the best stays for our family and our needs. All the amenities for families at a lower price. Highly recommend!

We were only in town for one night, but the SpringHill Suites left quite an impact with their friendliness and customer service. We ended up using their shuttle service quite a bit, since we were in town to go to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

They were more than happy to get us, even though we arrived in town much earlier than check-in. We had two different shuttle drivers, and both were incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant to us. The main shuttle had a tire issue with one of their shuttles. Instead of just apologizing, they got a different employee to come get us in a different vehicle and then take us to the airport.

We delt with three different employees as the front desk, and all three were so accommodating and helpful. We prefer the chat feature, and they were very responsive. The breakfast they served was nice before another long day.

The location was close to several restaurants, an events center, and you are only a few minutes from downtown Omaha.

Before this trip, we were really only ever interested in checking out the zoo but have already talked about coming back to see a bit more of the area. When we do, there is no doubt about where we will stay. We could not have asked for more from a hotel. Thank you!

We stayed here for a two days while visiting the Omaha Zoo. We cannot say enough nice things about the property and the staffing here. Anything we wanted or needed, they promptly provided with genuine kindness. Great shuttle to and from the airport, to the Zoo, to anything you wanted within a five mile radius. I would stay here anytime I visited the area.

The room was amazing. The staff was very helpful. The Suttle bus driver Mark did very amazing above an beyond he dropped us off at the concert an came back picked us up after the shuttle bus was done running for the day. It was very nice hotel pricey but hut tub in the room was awesome!

My sons and I stayed at this hotel for just one night this past week for a mom/son mini-vacation. Our stay was beyond our expectations. Most of that was due to the friendly staff who consistently went the extra mile. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and hot tub 3 different times throughout our stay, worked out at the gym which had plenty of machines, free weights/kettle balls, and yoga mats. We spent time in our spacious room watching the giant TV and spent time in the lobby playing games while drinking hot chocolate from the cocoa station at the front desk which included the wonderful touches of chocolate chips, crushed candy cane, and of course marshmallows. The breakfast foods were plentiful and varied so everyone could be satisfied. Of course my boys love the waffle station and the staff went the extra mile to bring each of them a little container of sprinkles for their creation of waffle, syrup, whipped cream, and strawberry compote. They have not stopped talking about our time there since we came home and we plan on making it an official tradition for every Christmas break.

Nice and close to the Mid America Center. Rooms were clean, well equipped, and complimentary coffee was hot and fresh at breakfast. There's nothing more I could have asked for.

5/27/2023 - Checked out after staying overnight, on our way home. The room was nicely appointed. There's a pool and workout room, but we were too tired to use them. It was a nice place to rest. It's quiet and they have a nice breakfast from 7 - 10am (I think 🤔).

Renee was lovely at the front desk very friendly and efficient, our room was clean and inviting and Michelle was ready with a smile at 530 am to shuttle us to the airport. It was a great stay and we’ll be returning!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of hospitality from the front desk to the breakfast attendants everyone made us feel welcome and at home. The room was perfect for our little family traveling through for the night! Met and exceeded our expectations!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast selection. What I liked most was the pool towels were bigger than a washcloth. They also had them stocked everytime we went swimming.

Excellent experience!! Very clean, exceptional customer service. Hosted my son's birthday party in their meeting and my guests had a blast in the pool. Big shout out to front desk Laura, she made us feel like home and very friendly to our guest. Breakfasts was delicious.

Staff were fantastic. We hall had a great time. Breakfast was very good.
