A large and beautiful park on the river bank. Lots of interesting sculptures.

Really fun spot! We liked the looking up sculpture and the pedestrian bridge is a great walk. There was a playground that wasn't opened yet but it looks like it will be neat when it is

We didn't go there after dark but the field with all the lights is a very clever idea!
Visit if you are in the area!

Very beautiful park. Visited this location at about 8:30pm. The sun was setting while we were there. The park is clean and well maintained. It’s a beautiful area to bring family to and to take photos. The bridge is amazing and the view to downtown Omaha is beautiful. The bridge has a marker where it divides Nebraska and Iowa, which I thought was really cool. The bridge leads you right to the Lewis and Clark Museum and into the downtown area. Will definitely visit again.

Love this place! One of my favorite places to go! When the "light shows" are active & I've been able to get lucky enough to go to the right spot & activate it... ITS SOOO AWESOME! Not so much nature as before though. I'm sure that is due to slight loss of habitat & the mass amount of people ping up along the river in all those new Apts. &/or town homes that are still fairly new on the Iowa side of pedestrian Bridge. (Some of my pics are from just on the NE side of Pedestrian Bridge.)

This place is great when not busy, Council Bluffs is an amazing place. There is like so much to do so of course this is the first stop in the great journey of Council Bluffs or I guess if your headed in opposite direction first stop to Omaha. Either way I like it, the grounds are well kept for the most part, pretty clean. The first time I came to this place I was amazed at the huge aluminum foil looking sculpture. It reminded me of that Wicker Man movie like ok what is this? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but it's Iowa folks. Iowa 😃

Passion * strength * balance = my every day goal ;-)

Grabbed a city bike and enjoyed a ride across the bridge and through out town. A nice, safe pedestrian friendly town. The bike is $8.00 an hour with many areas to pick up and drop off. An efficient way to see the area.

We enjoyed the concert, grabbed some food and chilled out with Tinker Bell and Rugar ( our two little dogs). It was a nice rest after our bike ride before going home!!
Made for a great day!!

This is a great park, we went to summerfest for the activities, walked over the Bob Kerry bridge and watched the drone show. We had a great time.

Super awesome spot... even when the riff raff comes through and tries to ruin your time.

We're down here a lot for YMCA sports for the kids, and it's a nice location - lots of room, which is nice. There's nice paths for walking, and it's right next to the pedestrian bridge, too.

Nice park with lots of grassy, open space. Great view of Omaha both from this park as well as while walking over the pedestrian bridge.

Great open spaces and level fields for playing soccer, grass volleyball, or ultimate frisbee. Bring your own setup for fields or courts, but the parking is ample and the greens are soft. There's a great pedestrian walkway around too and some cool public art.

Always clean and taken care of on the Iowa side :) Love a good walk and this definitely gives you a workout without trying.

This is a local place with spectacular, underrated beauty! Walk the path up to the pedestrian bridge, play soccer in the huge green, grassy field, or just enjoy the soft flow of the Missouri River on the steps near the trail. This park has a little something for everyone! Get out, move, and explore Nebraska/Iowa!

A very nice park on a sunny day! Unfortunately there has been a lot of flooding which makes certain areas inaccessible, but it also created more water for the fish to swim around in. Nice atmosphere and nice area.

Visiting from Dallas and checked this place out with my Lincoln friends. Very cool spot and worth walking the full length of the bridge!
