Hiro 88

I stopped in this place towards closing time to grab some sushi. I was greeted by John, who was super friendly and outgoing. I asked him what his favorite 2 rolls were and he ended up telling me about 3 of them. I asked him to order me two rolls of his choice. One of the rolls that I particularly liked was the black pearl. It had a lot of great texture, lots of great flavor and just overall was a tasty roll. I will definitely be back to this place. Thanks John for the awesome service.

It was so amazing especially because it was the first time eating out by myself. My waiter was so friendly. Great place for a first date or just a night out. I have no complaints. I don't remember the soup name just that is was hot and sour and I had the asparagus shrimp which was amazing.

I had some classic sushi I never had before. Shitake and Negi Hamachi blew were better than I ever imagined. Sake was really good for the price too. I also nearly fell in love with the server after she agreed that classic more simple sushi are far better than the crazy contraptions people in the West come up with....

I like the fact they open late on Saturday. We were here after the reception, around 21:30. The restaurant was still busy. We waited almost half an hour for the food, but it was delicious.

The sushi rolls were incredible! I strongly suggest the black pearl. It was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had. Service was prompt, friendly and even answered difficult questions if they did not know the answers to. Parking was easy to find. It's close to the old market area for walking around and light shopping. I would definitely eat here again. There was no need to take anything home or leave anything on the plate. It was a delightful experience after a stressful day of driving eight hours from Oklahoma City in the rain 🌧. The staff is incredibly friendly and could not ask for better service. The Buddha statue is beautiful.

if i could give a higher rating, i would. food was delicious, staff was incredibly efficient and kind, and the cocktails were fantastic!!

Fantastic Sushi Rolls and awesome service.
The wait staff kept our drinks full at all times.
The spicy crab roll and hiro special roll (pictured) were amazing!
If you like crab rangoons, they are also top notch.
They have the right crunch to them, and the flavor was on point . I will definitely return.

So we went on Tuesday night and we had such an incredible time, they have really good food, you have a lot of options, and the drinks are pretty good, this time I had the Crazy horse roll 😁 which is delicious and Las Vegas roll really good as well, and of course a refreshing mojito 🍹

Excellent happy hour spot! We spent very little and got plenty of food! Everything tasted fresh and our server was very attentive. We were also in and out very quickly and our food came out fast.
The space inside gets plenty of natural lighting and the layout is spacious and comfortable.
Highlight dish was the bacon jalapeño rangoons! The mojito was great as well.

Great place for dinner and cocktails. Walking distance of our hotel was a huge plus. I'm not normally a big grilled eel guy but the unadon was amazing. Very respectable wine list and the bottle prices were more than fair.

Service was great I can't remember her name but she was knowledgeable and respectful. Only complaint is the fried rice was a little dry but overall great food

Awesome happy hour drinks and appetizers. My first time. The food was hot delicious and quick. The food did not disappoint. This is the place if you're into sushi. A full menu of options. Also, if you're not into sushi they have other alternatives like fried rice and stir fry.

My family always stopping here before a show at the Orpheum. The Sushi is always excellent. We are also fans of the Vegetable Tempura and Crab Rangoon as appetizers. While I am sad they discontinued my previous favorite drink (Old Juan), the Jalapeno Popper drink is quite delicious.

Best happy hour for sushi in Omaha! Great prices and plates to choose from. Thankful there are 2 locations, but downtown is my absolute favorite!

Our server's name was Ruth she was great friendly efficient and good at her job. I will definitely visit again. Also had a very nice conversation with Haley. She is an asset to that company

This place has always been a go-to place for my husband and me. Amazing food, great ambience and humble servers! Recently we had a nice experience with John there! Reverse happy hours are always good to go with!

In town for business and decided to try this Hiro 88 08/06/18 around 2pm. Delicious sushi, nice interior, and my server Patty was amazing and lovely. Definitely coming here again. I liked it much better than that Blue Sushi place nearby I tried the day before.

The Small Sashimi is out of the park! It may seem small, but the cuts and variations are filling and fresh! The staff are amazing and the to-go packaging is fancy! Would love to come again!

This is one of our favorite places to eat and relax. My kiddos love the fact that they can finally use chopsticks 😂 if you're looking for an AWESOME Happy Hour...look no further!

Amazing rolls and perfectly made drinks!
We got the sweet potato and california rolls, each were delicious. The drinks were also amazing, cheers to our waitress who was doing double duty on bar and made some of the best drinks I’ve ever had at a restaurant/bar. They spaced customers out for social distancing, and they even have an app for ordering food to go. I would highly recommend Hiro 88.
