Dollar General

Today I was helped by a young lady named Sara. Her customer service skills are off the chain!!! She was professional, yet spunky and she was very efficient. The Dollar general is lucky to have her!!!

This is by far my favorite chain of Dollar stores retailer... Personally it's a nice big one to.. they have just about everything and even decent clothes the atmosphere is typical of a busy store never unfriendly at check out just at times when business is high it can be a lil wait but depends on the time..

I love how well organized the Carter Lake store is. And the variety of items available is great. Affordable seasonal decor, craft items such as jewelry kits, beads, acrylic paints and canvas sketchbooks, all your household item needs. Cute clothes and shoes and with BOGO 50% off...I got two really cute shirts for under 20$. And this place has a lot crammed into one small building, but even as they transition from spring to summer seasonal, the place is never a cluttered mess. Not a single shoe was out of place. All of them organized by style and in order of size!...what!? I cant even get that at target. 3 people in line? ...they are calling for a 2nd cashier. Super nice staff. Management seemed very respectful toward their team. I live in Omaha and promise you I will be in Iowa at least once a week to hit up this store.

This is my home town dollar store I can get whatever I need in a hurry however, today and many past Summer's it was so hot in there that I had to rush around and get my items very fast. When I was checking out I noticed the clerk looked like she was about to pass out. This is rediculous. Customers should not have to shop in these kinds of conditions but the employees can't leave I'm pretty sure this is against all labor and OSHA laws and it needs to be addressed right away. Loyal but upset customer

Super nice place. Clean and tidy. Found what we wanted at a decent price. Ashley helped us with finding some items. Super friendly she is! Will keep us coming back.

Store should be called Dollar Not General Price Of Anything....How can anything be a dollar when you gotta pay Uncle Sam Tax...I went with a dollar and I'm still there cos obviously there is no sign saying Must bring more than a dollar Dollar General + Tax it's not that I wouldnt buy that for a dollar rather I couldn't buy n e thing for a dollar

Was there for work, but was impressed by how well stocked and organized they were. The staff was very friendly and willing to help their customers

Cool. The young man at the counter gave me the typical post-covid non- professional lack of courtesy and effort no fear of accountability sort of treatment. Felt right at home.

Love this small town dollar general! one of the best! you definitely see some freaky people and strange characters around here tho.

Stopped to purchase a couple of things. I didn't need any assistance other than getting checked out. Friendly atmosphere.

Their shelves are always fully stocked and you can maneuver through the aisles with ease.
