Love Pastor Gary Furr, beautiful church overlooking Downtown Birmingham, wonderful music program with large pipe organ, handbell choir and a great congregation!!

I admire everything Donnie Sheffield puts his hands on he recently restored the temple as well it wouldn't be there today if it wasn't for him and who else can do that good the president said it's prettier than the day it was built.

I've been listening to Sunday radio services here for almost 20 years. I had the opportunity to visit once many years ago. This church is part of my Sunday worship. Thanks Pastor Furr for your many years of service, not only to the church but the community as well. Thanks be to God!!

Hey Gary, I spent last evening with what looked to be around 1000 of my very best friends sitting in the parking lot of your church. Such a warm and respectful crowd, lots of little children and qutie a few old codgers like me. I commend you and your church for allowing folks to gather there outside of official church times. So many congregations today would worry about damage, to the facilities or to the reputation of the church, forgetting that church is not a building it is a people and the highest calling of the people is that they open their hearts and their homes to the stranger. Please pass my love and appreciation along to your congregation for such a wonderful place to look up into the sky with wonder.
