Vima Church

To combat against the one bad review I'd like to say this is a great church and we are accepting of all sinners no matter what it looks like and of course we sent scripture to them of why we believe what we believe to show why we believe it. We are also one of the most ethnicitically diversed churches in the area I'd like to say proudly. As well as we teach so much on babtism and we do not force it on newcomers but we make it available for every person that would like to be babtized. It's a amazing church to which I would recommend every person come and visit.

Little bit of everybody goes here. Nice size, super friendly and very welcoming. If I had one thing to say is I wish they would put the scripture reads on the big screen instead of the TV. If you have vision problems it will be hard to see. If you don't or can't walk to the door they have some serving in a golf cart to take you from your car to the door and vise versus! They put a wonderful hand written note with a reference to a Bible verse on your door if it is your first time there. Just a wonderful church where you are welcomed. The pastor talked about being noy alright during covid. Very refreshing to hear someone say they struggled also. Go! You won't be sorry!

A great place to worship for those in the Wichita area, with a welcoming and safe environment for your kids to experience Jesus as well! Pastors Jon and Stephanie Morris are incredibly genuine people who want to help you grow in your relationship with Christ.

There are people everywhere who are greeting you with smiles and warmth. Walking into church you cross over a bridge and it feels like you have fans waiting for your arrival (introverts - I'm sorry. Extroverts, you're welcome!) Yes, they have great coffee and donuts (one of the best ways to make people feel welcome, at least in the Midwest). But something that stood out to me the most was how the pastor remembered me. He made a point to say hello and welcomed me back. It felt less like a "nice of you to join our congregation today" and more like a "Hey! I genuinely remember you, I am glad you came back! How are things going for you?" Everyone will experience different things (your perspective is your reality, yeah?) but I hope you give this church a chance!

My whole family LOVES Vima Church! The messages are based wholly on Biblical truths and applicable to everyday life. The praise band is top notch and the kids ministry is a fun and energetic program to get kids to learn about God. God's presence is in this place - it's evident in the kindness of these genuine people!

Incredibly genuine and friendly people who want to praise Jesus and grow in his word together! They have free Reverie coffee and Krispy Kreme Donuts. Pastor Jon and his wife Stephanie make an effort to greet everyone and make a personal connection with you! Love this church family!
