Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

Good amount of food for the price. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. Hubby and I both got the meal pictured, it was $22.00, well worth it, we both brought leftovers home.

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in town, the place is spotless clean, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff members are very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and more. The flavors of the food are exquisite. This place is my to go place when I have friends from out of town, when I have meetings from work, for lunch and / or dinner when I don't want to cook. It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Recommend 110% to everyone

Such a pretty place! The inside is very open and nice. The servers always do a great job. Very well trained. I love the mild salsa. It is smokey and had a chipotle pepper flavor to it. The spicy cheese dip is not very spicy but it is delicious. I loved my fried smothered burrito. My husband loved his food.

Wow, food and service were on point. Australian Sea bass Fire-grilled, seasoned Barramundi with Guerrero sauce which is cream sherry sauce, shrimp, spinach, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, green peppers and sliced avocados.

Came in for a quick Saturday afternoon lunch with our family. We were greeted pleasantly at the door, escorted to our table, and waited on like Kings! We enjoyed steak fajitas, a variety of salsas, and were offered a scrumptious dessert. All in all, we can count on Abuelos for a consistent experience!

Food and service are always great atmosphere is best when you get carry out. Just kidding. One of my favorite places. Up there with Waffle House. More jokes. Good place to take a date.

Abuelo's is at the top of my list for Mexican Resturants. The food is always tastefully prepared. They always warn me the plate is HOT! The service is also very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. You can't go wrong choosing Abuelo's!

I never knew about Abuelo's until I started to work there. they make everything from scratch from early in the morning all day long ..prepping for the next day .everything is freshly cooked ..cut.. mixed.. nothing is Frozen. the smells in the kitchen are divine.. the food is hot.. smoking and comforting.. warm to the bellies. the people there strive to make the customers feel welcomed and satisfied but mostly like family. everybody seems to leave on a happy note and a to-go box because they are offered so much food on their plate that it's too much to finish. My coworkers.. my bosses are super great people.. they're very caring and everybody is always laughing and smiling

Perfect! Came in for our 15 year wedding anniversary... and like usual... everything was perfect. Went on a Sunday evening right before the dinner rush, no wait. Danielle our server was absolutely a gem. Food and drinks were perfection! Vibe was mostly quiet and chill. We've made Abuelo's a regular for when we're craving Mexican cuisine. Love this place.

The server that we had named Angel was tremendous. It has been quite some time since I had someone with his enthusiasm as a waiter or waitress. Excellent to see. Will definitely be back. The food was also very good.

Food was terrific, but above that, the staff that served our table, Brandon, was above and beyond. We were treated like royalty, and that is no exaggeration. So pleasant. So attentive to our table. He was literally the best staff we have ever experienced. His level of service is what makes the monumental difference in the customer experience. Brandon, I hope you see this and we So much thank you. If you are Brandon's manager, please treat him with the upmost regard as he is your most valuable asset ! Thanks so much, Brandon !

My husband and I split the chicken dish with the corn sauce in it. It was beyond delicious, plenty for 2, and we had cilantro rice and charro beans that came with it. The 3 salsas that came with the chips was delicious too. And, if that wasn't enough we had flan which I think tasted like creme caramel. Outstanding! Waiter was awesome and very attentive and beautiful restaurant!

It is always helpful when a restaurant will accommodate a large group. Abuelo's had a section for us set aside in their beautiful restaurant. This is the second time that we have used this restaurant to recognize our employee and will definitely use them again. There were many, many choices on the menu some of the regular Mexican fare and many different selections. The service was solid, the waiters were very attentive and efficient just lacked personality. The food was fantastic and was all delivered to everyone within minutes of other. This place is definitely on my recommend list.

Wow incredible experience once again! This is my second time here. Definitely by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Midwest and I eat a lot of Mexican food and travel throughout the USA. Best Mexican food of the 12 states I’ve been thru this season.

Also —- I must comment that the customer service was also the best I have experienced in probably a year of any food service. I ordered take out and the moment I got to the bar, 2 people came up to me (one the first 10 seconds and the second one 10 seconds later) to check on the food. The bartender (evening shift) she was also amazing.

Our food was served hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive. The prices are a little high, but due to our age, we could order off the senior menu.

The food was SO good. I had the Grande Burrito with con Carne sauce. It was so huge, I have plenty left over for dinner tonight! There was a little hiccup when my bf ordered steak nachos and got ground beef instead. But they made it right, and he had plenty of food and he said it was good as well.

The service was great, our server was Riley and she was very friendly and cheerful! We enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is great and the people very friendly.

Amazing food! Layers of flavor found here! Super friendly staff! Andrew has the best smile and Layla has a great sense of humor! If I lived here, this would easily become a favorite place to visit. Definitely recommend!!!

Lunch was great! I had the Durango Burrito and it was very good. I also really liked the variety of salsa they served with chips. Great service too!
