Stockyards Brewing is a popular spot in Kansas City to visit! When the Kansas City International Airport was remodeled, a new Stockyards Brewing restaurant opened inside! While I was waiting for my flight to depart, I ordered a hot coffee and a breakfast burrito with potatoes. This breakfast burrito is loaded with Kansas City BBQ brisket, fluffy eggs, perfected cooked potatoes, and more delicious ingredients. Tasty brews and delicious entrees...you won't be disappointed with anything you order! There are several mouthwatering BBQ items that you can order at Stockyards Brewing, along with fresh brewed adult beverages. Add this spot to your KC Bucket List today!

Let’s just be honest here, good food and airports don’t frequently go hand in hand. However, due to my airline being unable to provide on time services, (yup Delta just can’t apparently) I was blessed with hours to kill in the newly opened Kansas City airport. I hesitated to try Stockyard Brewing due to the low Google rating. HOWEVER, I was blown away at not only the quality but the quantity of my meal. I had the brisket and the burnt ends and they flat out were amazing. I’ve had lots of BBQ and no joke, this place rates pretty high in comparison. And to top it off, Christina brought her “A” game with rapid attentive service. 5 stars will be back !!!

Flight was delayed so we stopped in. We were very happy with everything. The nacho platter( which were actually house made chips)was amazing and huge! 5 stars!

Layover in the airport. Had a reasonably priced supper at Stockyards. Find a seat, scan the menu and a waitress will place your order. Found a seat looking out at the runway...other seats at a bar or tables along the terminal walkway for people watching. Had a brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. A side of macoroni and cheese that tasted home made.

I really wanted to try this place when our plane landed in KC, but we had to pick up our rental. It smelled so good though. We went to a bbq place in the city and regretted not eating here instead. So, when we we're leaving KC, we decided to try it before leaving town.
It was a great decision! Our server, Matt, was wonderful! Very attentive. Very helpful, happy, professional...
I ordered the burnt ends and some coleslaw. My daughter ordered the popcorn chicken with fries.
The "popcorn" chicken is huge! It's more like a cross between chicken nuggets and chicken tenders. And there's a lot of them! Like 20+! My husband and daughter weren't that hungry so they had decided to split the meal. Between the two of them, they still couldn't finish the meal!
My burnt ends were really good! I liked the bbq sauce they had in the tables too. There was a spicy and regular sauce. I liked both. The coleslaw said it had their vinaigrette in it, but it was very bland. It didn’t taste like it had anything on it at all. I added a lot of salt to it.
I would definitely eat here every time I'm in KC!

Great food for an airport. Burnt ends were excellent Cole slaw not so much. I think they forgot the dressing. Luckily my wife had some leftover salad vinaigrette so I could make it edible.

Got the experience the NEW menu at the Stockyards in MCI airport...corn ribs were unique and delicious especially with a drizzle of the Tangy Tumbleweed BBQ sauce. It's literally corn on the cob eaten like a rib! Yum! Nachos were first on my list and didn't disappoint. Mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! Burnt ends were phenomenal with great flavor and smoke! My fave BBQ sauce was the Tangy Tumbleweed but the others were great too!

Great BBQ at the Airport! This place is representing KC and upholding the BBQ reputation! Burnt ends were great, pulled pork was juicy and full of flavor, sausage was killer, pork ribs were great, they also have corn ribs which are unique, their Mac n Cheese was fresh and not the pre made stuff from a company. The overall star of the show for me and our party was the nachos. Large serving with house made chips topped with 4 different meats and handfuls of toppings. These didn’t last long at our table. Big enough to share and more than enough to fill your belly and help you nap on a long flight out of KC. They offer 3 sauces that are well balanced with none of them being over powering allowing them to add another layer of flavor to their food. I look forward to returning to try their chicken and some of their grab and go bbq items.

I tried the corn ribs, nachos, sausage and the dirty mac....I can't pick my favorite!! The nachos were a homemade chip, which was a great touch! The sausage, corn ribs & dirty Mac were topped off with a touch of amazing sauce...the OG Sattle Up Sweet Heat! I've never had homemade Mac so good!!! I can't wait to eat here again! And...they have a great selection in their BBQ Spot!

First of all, service was BEYOND on point. The young lady who served us dispelled all fears of dining in because I might miss my plane. She was quick, efficient, friendly, accommodating (brought a sample beer for my boss to taste), and did that for multiple customers. Secondly, the pull-pork with Cole slaw sandwich was damn good. Moist, and flavorful. The menu at stockyards is simple, and not too complicated so you don't have to keep deciding too long. Definitely would return next time I come through Kansas City airport.

I eat The Beckett every chance I get and it is spot on. Equally delicious leftovers reheated in an air fryer.

I have to say that I just had one of the best brisket sandwiches Ive ever had. As a native Kansas Citian, Ive had plenty of BBQ. Very impressed with the food and service.
Very generous portion, extremely friendly and prompt service by Andrea.
Nicely done. The price was high, but it was in an airport afterall. They all take advantage of patrons. Nothing new there.

When you get off the plane, you smell the BBQ. I took a chance on the first place. I was not disappointed. The ribs were very good, plan to grab more when I fly out.
