We have had 8 dogs with VCA and have gone through everything routine to unexpected loss. The staff is incredible and frequently goes above and beyond for us. We trust them to always be honest and caring with our animals. Highly recommend!

Dr. Garoot and the entire staff at vca are amazing. They have treated my parents dog for years with knowledge, compassion and skill. I love them so much that when it was time for my senior cat to have wellness check, I brought here even tho I live in chicago..... because when u find the best....thats the people you want looking out for our furry family. Highest respect and appreciation to Dr. Garoot and all at vca. You are making a difference!

This place got me in 2 hours early. The staff is very nice, and the prices are less than half of what it cost 20 minutes away in Springfield what I got for $80 would have cost me $240 in Springfield.

VCA is a quality facility that provides excellent and professional care. All of the staff here are super careful with the animals and will work with you and your pet to provide the best veterinary service.
I am super happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Pricing is a little higher than other places but if you are willing to pay a little more for quality care then this is the place for you.
They also provide some grooming services and pet lodging if you are away. 😄

I was concerned about my puppy getting parvo when I first brought her home and they gave me some great tips for keeping her safe until she was fully vaccinated.

Took my Gidget in to have her checked out since her health had started to decline and wanted to see if anything was wrong and also get in with a vet who is close to me in case anything happened that I needed to get her seen quickly since she is 14 now.
Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and all who handled Gidget were so wonderful. We saw Dr. Black and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Gidget was given a pain injection and cold laser therapy and Gidget is so content and not shaking from pain anymore. I highly recommend going here.

VCA Has been a part of our family for for many years. The team of Doctors are always friendly and seek to make sure our pets are treated with the utmost care, and more than just a pet.

We use the dog boarding here. They gave us report cards of our dogs. It was the cutest thing. One was a perfect angel, the other not so much. They were both very well taken care of and you can tell they love all animals.

The office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! We have two dogs, one is terrified of vets and the other is aggressive with other dogs (due to an incident in his past), they’re very accommodating. The vet takes off her white jacket when she enters the room so as to reduce some of my dog’s anxiety. We’ve seen three different vets in this office and have been very happy with all of them. Most recently, Dr. Rankin who spent half an hour examining my pooch thoroughly and with gentle care and love to help us discover why he is sick. We really appreciated the loving touch, I felt like she genuinely cares about my pet and wants him to be better. Prices are comparable to other vets in town, maybe a smidgen higher but the convenience of scheduling and friendliness of staff makes it worth the price. They also accept Care Credit and offer a prepaid Care Club package for your pets. They offer boarding services, grooming, teeth cleaning and all the other standard services you would expect from a vet. I would highly recommend this office for all your pet needs.

My mom, my sister, and I have all had our cats be patients here with Dr. Garoutte, and I really can't recommend him, the other vets, & their whole office highly enough. I think our cats have been seeing them for 10 years at this point? Through that time, it's always been very clear that Dr. Garoutte really cares about his patients. They also helped us through one of our cats passing, and the whole staff was very supportive during that.

The only reason I'm switching vets is because I've moved out of town. If I were still local, Twyla would still be coming here.

My baby Tuco got super sick and I called as a worried mama and the girls got me in right away after the doctor (Dr. Black) called back immediately. He was treated promptly and with care for a fair price (although he is priceless :)) Thank you parkcrest!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The technicians even recognized and loved on my dog after only her second visit! The veterinarians I've encountered are very knowledgeable and helpful. I had blood work done for my dog in preparation to get her spayed, and Dr. Rankin called me explaining my dog actually has an infection. She was patient in explaining the situation and made sure I knew all the information I needed. She made me feel at ease, and I know my dog is in good hands with her and the rest of the staff!

We love Dr. Sherman. I'm a bit of a worrier, but the staff is always super helpful and supportive and answers my questions. My boys aren't the best at vet visits, but the team really tries to make sure they feel safe when they're being seen. The one time I did have a concern, Dr. Sherman called me herself, apologized and explained the situation calmly. I really appreciate that because my boys are my babies, and it's easy to get upset quickly when you feel like you can't help them. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend VCA Parkcrest enough. The staff and doctors are incredible. I am just passing through town and had an emergency vet need. They were able to get me in quickly, had a treatment plan within the hour, and called to checkup on me everyday. Dr. Garoutte was patient with me, listened to my concerns, addressed all my questions, and thoroughly discussed my treatment options with me. He provided me with guidance during an emotional time and made me feel at ease with any decision I made.

I came in for the first time in a mild panic over my dog (who has had a bad run medically the past couple months) having a badly swollen eye that also wasn't tracking right and they were the first of about 6 vets I could get into without several days between. Staff was kind and helpful, and the vet tech and Dr. Rankin were patient, caring, and thorough with my dog (and patient with me and my worrying). Changed up an antibiotic she was given by another vet earlier in the week due to suspected allergic reaction, and sure enough she was looking better in a day or two. Very happy with the experience, and while I am happy with my prior vet I may well be making a change to make VCA Parkcrest my primary vet.

We have been coming here for years. The staff is great and they really care about your pet. Our vet there has tried to make sure we don’t end up spending any more than we have to any time our dog has gotten sick or hurt. We would recommend them to anyone.

The staff here is absolutely exceptional. I have brought my pup there for his shots, fecal tests, and basic wellness visits. I switch off living between Missouri and Wisconsin and VCA Parkcrest continues to go above and beyond, answering my questions quickly and with the utmost integrity. I cannot say enough how much I trust my pup in their care.

Simon has been taken care of with utmost compassion and love. Appointments are on time, never rushed. Follow up calls of concern are appreciated. He is thriving for a 16 year old! Always professional, compassionate care from staff and Dr. Sherman.

Very much appreciate their willingness to get my dog in when she was having issues. Dr Rankin has been so kind and caring! Absolutely recommend anyone and everyone to bring their pets here.

We have several pets, most of them with special needs. Dr. Ziegler is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to answer all questions and find new alternatives for treatment. Also one early morning Dr. Sherman took the time out of her already scheduled day to help a cat I found hit on the side of the road. The entire staff is amazing and friendly. I completely trust them with lives of our furry family members.
