Springfield Family Restaurant

My husband and I had tried breakfast and supper so we decided to try lunch as well, so Thursday after work we gave them a try just to see if it was a fluke or if the 3rd time would be as good as the first 2 well let me tell ya it was. We were quite pleased.

We split an order of onion rings, my husband ordered them to surprise me but much to both of our surprise they could have fed 3 to 4 of us there were that many that he thought it would be a single-size serving, You truly get your money's worth.

For Lunch

I tried the Chicken BLT on a Bun with french fries and Coffee, you have the option of fried or grilled chicken I had the grilled it was very juicy and tender, seasoned just right the fries were perfectly crispy. I'm very picky and I was very pleased.

My husband tried the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and he really enjoyed it, mind you it is enormous, and he said the flavors were dead on he didn't have to add anything to it, and this man adds salt and pepper to EVERYTHING!! He requested extra pickles and ate all of them one because the sandwich was so big and two he enjoyed the pickles lol. He also liked the french fries as much as I did as well.

I am going to have to say we enjoyed our lunch as much as we did our first two visits, thank you for doing such a great job, we will be back!!

First time coming here♡ went for valentines day♡♡♡ 1/14/2024 as soon as they opened at 7am, food came out super fast was delicious, server was super sweet and refilled our drinks often

Big menu, full of breakfast and home cooking items. The giant pork cutlet sandwich was great. Desserts looked good, didn't have any. Service was fantastic.

Liked the old pics on the wall of old Springfield cerca early 1900s and then newer ones this century. I had the chicken fried steak skillet, which had an abundant portion. It was great, and there was a choice of toast. I opted for the biscuits and gravy.
Another bonus was the cinnamon bread which they use for their French toast. I bought a package to go. Yum.

Great food, huge portions, midget expensive for breakfast but well worth it. I would recommend trying it do anyone great place.

The only thing that I get is the very berry waffle. Get cream cheese on the side. You don't need any butter or syrup. Excellent, good service, good atmosphere. Good price.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years for breakfast, lunch and supper eating in and take out and have always got good food and good service. We have tried multiple dishes on the menu and everything except spaghetti was amazing. Several of the staff have been there longer than we've been going there and it's so nice to see the same faces there all the time. For diabetics they have a sugar free chocolate cream pie that is fabulous!!

This place is a local regular spot for comfort food. Good bang for buck. Used to be Ziggies. Basically the same just rebranded. There is literally something for everyone to eat here. Even your pickiest eater will find something to eat here.

Breakfast for dinner anyone? Don’t mind if I do… also don’t forget the pie!!! Grab a slice or take a whole one!!

There is also room for groups too so don’t be afraid to bring your whole crew. It can get really busy especially morning times during the weekend. If you get up early on Sunday you can beat the church crowd!!!

The pancakes are to die for. The fluffiest, tastiest, best boys ever. 💯

My husband and i are traveling the country and we always try to find a local place to eat.
We drove passed this one and turned around to go back.So glad we did.
My husband had the catfish and i had the country fried steak ,they both were delicious. Make sure you are hungry because the portion are huge They were not busy so our server told us about Springfield and areas to visit.
I would highly recomnend this resturant if you are in the area.

This place is a hidden gem for sure!! We we're just traveling through the area & looked to Google to find a good place to eat. Everything was delicious, from the complimentary soup to our fried zucchini app which was surprisingly a huge portion! I had the fried chicken & my friend had the chicken fried steak both were superb! The service was great as well! We will definitely return when we are back in the area!

After the disaster at Denny's and IHOP Springfield Family Restaurant was a breath of fresh air. Sat us down quickly, served us quick and correctly and was polite. Thank you because we were starving. Also the pancakes were delicious.

After waiting at an empty Denny's for almost an hour we went to Springfield Family Restaurant. Should had been went there first. Pancake fantastic! Eegs and sausage was delicious. Service was quick. Thank you cause we were starving.

Friendly place, clean, inviting. Great food and customer service. Kids breakfast was plenty big. Everyone's meals were big portions!

Our server was so kind and attentive. The food was really good also.

Had lunch here after visiting the history museum. Hubby had a wonderful Cobb salad with a fried chicken breast, and I had the hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It was the best I’ve ever had. Great service!

The waitress was amazing and her service is very professional and she handled the situation very well. There was yelling between the other waitress and someone in the kitchen. The food was amazing and hit the spot.
