Surplus Grocery Warehouse

Was looking for a surplus store to find some low priced grocery’s and that’s exactly what I found.

Most the items I found ranged from 25 to 75% off. For example, I found $4 brand-name cereal for $.98. I also lucked out and found some my favorite snacks for 50% off the Walmart price. So there were definitely some pretty good deals mixed in.

Other than that, The lighting was pretty dim but the people in there were really friendly.

Would definitely recommend checking out. Because it’s a surplus store it’s not necessarily where you’d want to go if you’re looking for something very specific but if you’re Wanting to find some basic groceries or pantry items at a low cost this is a pretty good place.

If you're looking for really good bargain prices on shelf stable stuff, look here. Will things be a little bit past their "best by" date, yeah, some of them might be, but they're still fine. Everything I bought was still fresh! Some of it was not even to it's best by date yet, it was just in crumpled packaging. Things like candies, gum, prepared food items, and canned goods are shelf stable past their best by date stamps and they're at a fraction of their original prices here. It's not far out of the way to go for a good deal, so if you are a bargain hunter you should check it out!

Great store, great prices, often have more organic/gluten free/dairy free items than other stores like this. I keep seeing people complain about expiration dates - except the preservatives in boxed/canned/bagged foods (for the most part) will continue keeping the food good for WAY longer than is printed on the package. It's fine, you're not going to die. Only problem I've ever had with this place was finding pantry moths in the boxed noodles, I told the staff about it and I haven't seen any since (I'm still a little weird about buying noodles there, though). I was able to find 12 packs of soy milk there for $0.98! I love this place!

This place is amazing. You can get a lot for very little money. The lady working was an absolute pleasure. She was the nicest and most helpful. Definitely going back here.

Realistic expectations are the key. If you come in expecting Costco or Sams you'll be disappointed. I love stores like this because they have such a variety of weird stuff. You don't have to pay a fortune to discover you don't like something. But if you LOVE something, you better grab it while you can!!!

A mixed selection but well worth the stop. Prices were really good and the lady working was super friendly!

I have to renew my review. This has become my new favorite place to shop once again. New management and staff, since the last time I visited and had an awful experience, is amazing. The store is clean, organized and the prices are amazing. I just bought 9 bags full of granola bars and such for $50. This will feed my 6 boys for at least a week. Great progress for sure!

This still my favorite store! Alaina (sp?) and Terry are both very nice people who keep the store organized and well maintained. The prices still rock along with the great people running the shop. If you haven't been go! And enjoy the best kept secret in the 417. You guys are awesome!

I love this place! Although it's discounted, damaged items, the prices are so so cheap! You have to look through stuff so if your not into pilfering then you won't like it. If you like cheap prices, tons of stuff, and nice people you'll love this place! Similar to damaged county freight on north side of Springfield. Enjoy!

Today a much better experience. Last time it was atrocious customer service. Today was amazing.

Went w my daughter and granddaughter , to check out discounts. Some items were higher than Wal Mart. Most were a huge savings. They had a wide variety of many things from clothing to decorations... overall impressed.

It's not super big but it had alot of potential. Nice deals too.

This place is a bit hard to find, kinda a hole in the wall, but worth the effort. Need to watch expiration dates, but there are a few rare finds, including seasonal decorations for a fraction of the price.

This place is awesome!!! Cannot beat the prices for anything that's in there. You do have to pilfer thru the boxes. Items range from personal hygiene products, vitamins, snacks/food, you just gotta go check it out.

Big store, so big selection, well stocked. Friendly staff.

Great place! I get so many snacks, drinks, vitamins, supplements, and odds and ends here. The prices are absolutely unbeatable and they remember their frequent customers!

I was just there 10 mins ago. The boxes of chips expired just last month#still good. 8.98 at Wal-Mart 15.00.
The store is in the back of where g.p.s. takes you.

I love this place because there is always something they have that I don't know I need until I see it.. and you really can't beat the prices.
