My mother unexpectedly passed away last month and Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services did an outstanding job assisting my me and my family during a difficult and sensitive time as we prepared for my mother's service and burial. Missy and her team were very thorough and answered all of our questions. We were also able to have my mother's service at the Elfindale Chapel which is what my mom would've wanted as her relationship with Christ was foundational in her life. I am so grateful to the staff at Midwest. They had very cost effective options and I highly recommend them.

My brother and I lost our mom we had to do the hardest thing we didn’t know where to start we were so lost but our church, James River recommended midwest, cremation and funeral home.They say when times are hard, God will guide you, and that he did Midwest cremation, and funeral home staff made us fill so comfortable under the circumstances. They let us work at our pace. They were so understanding and compassionate. My brother and I felt like they knew our mom they did everything perfect. She looked so beautiful her makeup her hair look just like when she did it. They nailed it. Everything couldn’t have been any better than it was. They went over and beyond our expectations we want to think the staff at Midwest cremation funeral home for making this possible they gave us beautiful memories during this hard time. Thank you. Midwest accommodated our needs in a very timely and professional manner. Missy was super friendly and answered all of our questions as this was the first time weve had to deal with the loss of a family member. They are very cost effecient compared to some of the other homes and in my opinion, their services exceed all others by far. I would recommend them to all.

My Mother passed away. Midwest was the cheapest option around but the service and kindness showed by Missy was like I paid too dollar. Not once did I feel bad for asking questions or was I kept out of the loop. Missy always knew exactly who I was over the phone and was always ready to help. This place is by far the most humane place I encountered. I would recommend this to everyone whether you are struggling financially or not. Thank you and God bless to everyone there.

When my mother passed away suddenly I went with them because they were the cheapest place in town. The compassion and concern shown during the entire process was what I needed to help me through a very difficult time. I cannot thank them enough.

I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place or the staff. I had a rather messy situation when it came to other family members Cooperating after my dad passed away. Missy and her team are amazing. Missy is very down to earth Sympathetic and professional all rolled into one. I was able to talk to her like she was one of my friends. She has went above and beyond while dealing with a rather difficult family. I appreciate all of her hard work. I just got to say that I need to Thank you too everyone who was involved in talking to me on the phone to get me & bicycle there and bringing me home Missy I don't know much about the ride, but I was completely fooled by the young lady that followed us to help us get my bike out of the van. When my mother passed it was literally a last minute change on where she was going, I was very nervous but satisfied. My mother passed 2 days before my brother's 28th birthday. I met with Ron the day she passed and I asked if it would be possible to get her home for his birthday. He didn't make any promises but he said he would try. We he did, I was able to bring my Mama home on my brother's birthday and my family are forever grateful.
I had also never dealt with this stuff and they all have done wonderful helping me figure everything out.

Missy and the staff at Midwest Cremation were amazing. My mother passed unexpectedly, and I have had zero experience with this. Add to that being an only child and I was lost on what to do and how to proceed. Midwest Cremation helped me through every step and answered any question I could think of. Not only was the service incredible but the cost was very affordable for the services provided.

Midwest was there for us when we lost each of our grandparents and then again when we lost our mom and now with the loss our dad. Each time the love and care they give has been wonderful! I just wish they would change their name to Midwest Funeral Services and Cremation as we always have funeral services with viewings there followed by a graveside service. Midwest gets our 5-star rating!!!

Missy and the team were amazing. My dad lived and hr our of Springfield, but they still were willing to handle everything. They handled everything plus more! Midwest Cremation prices are the cheapest we found, and we called 8 other Funeral homes. Once my dad went into hospice he declined rapidly, and he didn’t have any life insurance or anything set up to bury him. We were able to pay for everything out of pocket because of how affordable they were. I’m thankful for Missy and the Midwest Cremation Crew for all you did for me and my family this past week!

I am grateful for Missy and Ron's help and services through my dad's passing. They went above and beyond to help resolve some issues we had with the death certificates.
