Red Racks DAV Thrift Store

I didn’t see one red rack, but I did see some awesome deals on some great their store items. I looked up and down the isles of this place only to be sorely disappointed in the fact that there were zero red racks for sale. I’m not going to complain too much though because the items in this store and the prices were exceptional. I spent well over an hour checking out the deals and I left with all kinds of stuff.

Great weekly prices. Very clean thrift store too. The staff was kind and the items were clean as well. This is a place where I will be buying all of my underwear from here on out.

Better than Goodwill in quality and layout of store. Staff is friendly as can be. Lots of good deals on used items. Fair warning. It's a big store.

This is one of the biggest thrift stores i have seen in this area , and they have alot of things to choose from, of course i have over heard people talking saying things are cheaper at Wal-Mart. this will varies with each person. I truly liked it and i always will go here for the best selection of items i may need in the future .

Place is a lot larger, well maintained, and a bigger selection than their competition. My gf loves coming here. I enjoy it also but quite a bit less lol. Their specialty seems to be womens clothing and house stuff. Decent selection of books.

This is a fairly new location it's also a drop off location and I was very impressed at how cleaned up this particular thrift store is and they have a lot of nice things placed very nice and neat friendly staff just bought my daughter a new little CD player wasn't even five bucks and it and it works great I recommend it especially if you're looking to start fresh on a on a new house or apartment maybe you need some stuff but don't have a very big budget this is the place to go

Everything is well organized. Alot nicer than other places I've been, such as a goodwill. Made plenty of good finds and they have new mattresses that are only 259 for a full set. A queen was not much more but it was still in the packaging as well. Friendly staff. Definitely felt taken care of here.

They always have amazing deals on everything in the store! I love buying my clothes and shoes from here especially! Their Sunday sales are my favorite! Every Sunday they mark down the prices of a certain colors of their price tags by a certain percentage. It's a great way for me to find clothes! They also have a great reward point system that is linked to your cell phone that does not take long at all to be able to cash out at! I would definitely recommend this thrift store to anyone and everyone! You literally never know what you are going to find here!

I love getting a bargain and this is the place to get them. They have specials for members and discounts. They offer 25% off every day for military and their families. You can't go there and not get something for a bargain. I am thankful we have them here.

I love the Red Racks DAV thrift stores. They serve a worthy cause by raising money for disabled veterans. I went to the store on West Battlefield. They had some beautiful furniture. They always have good clothes, books, pretty jewelry, loads of tempting knickknacks, small appliances, and cooking utensils. Also linens, comforters, and blankets. It is a fun place to shop and the staff is always helpful.

Great deals if you're looking for artwork! This place is how I've decorated half my apartment walls. So many awesome modern paintings and photographs

I found a whole new wardrobe of name brand clothes for myself and my son in like new condition for $100. Can’t beat it. They also have furniture, toys and home goods.

First time in the new location, and it was very clean and appealing walking in! Spent quite some time looking through the knick knacks after easily finding the clothing we were looking for. Lots of options without feeling too cluttered. And I love supporting the DAV.

Wife went in for 1 item and spent 50.00.

First time I have ever been there. This store is at Kansas expressway and battlefield. They have a lot of things to choose from. The employees are very nice and helpful. Good prices. Wheel chair access and parking. They have wheelchairs that you can use in the store.

The people that work there are great. They are always friendly and helpful. Lots of good clothes, shoes jewelry etc.

Daily specials, from 50% and 25%. Tons of men's, women's And children's clothes. Massive women's boot assortment. A very large assortment of housewares also. No dressing room though. Great place to support disabled veterans.

The Red Rack in Springfield, MO on Kansas Expressway and Battlefield is fantastic!!! All of the people that work there are kind, helpful and always willing to go out of their way. I thought I had not received an item that I purchased and they were all over it on the phone and promised to get back to me immediately after they investigated. The item was found and it was my mistake and they were so kind about it all.
I will always go there when I am in town. It is the best!!!

My only complaint with this chain is that the staff turnover is so fast!
I wish the local managers had the power to reward these hard workers with some incentives to keep them at RedRacks!!
Otherwise, this particular RedRacks Store has recently undergone a huge transformation and the merchandise is top shelf- even on the “Last Chance” Rack! ( those clothes that have overstayed their welcome & are all $1.00! This selection is .50 cents or .25 cents on Sundays!)
These stores feature colored tickets on each item(or letters that represent the tag color on home decor, furniture, lamps, kitchenware & toys, shoes too)
The InFamous 50 Cent Sunday’s are my fav! Each Sunday a certain color tag- Blue(B), Yellow(Y) Green(G), Tan(T), White(W) and Purple (P- was often found only on Designer or New Items w Store tags still attached or new item in unopened box-these things are RARELY marked down),& Red(R- used for a seasonal or holiday item & NOT included in Sunday Sales.Lately, Red tag items are discounted on the actual holiday & after.)
There’s fitting rooms and lots of variety! The quality has improved 100% and the new staff are very friendly and polite! They’ll be slammed with a long line at the register but happily pause to show you an item/s from the locked showcase!! This store beats ALL the area thrift stores when it comes to quality, clean, unbroken costume jewelry and sterling jewelry too! Reasonably priced even on non-sale days! They give Military & 55+ discounts all week! Each week features a certain color tag 50% off and a 2nd color tag 25% off- sometimes they offer a certain color at $1.00!!
JOIN THEIR REWARDS LOYALTY PROGRAM!! It pays every single visit-10-40% off regular priced items- even on sale days!!
Be forewarned: Sunday’s will have crowds lined up 2 hours before they open at 10am!!
It’s worth getting in that line!! And invest in a foldable shopping tote- Sunday crowds snag every one of the available shopping carts FAST!
The managers make it a priority to spot eBay buyers or e-commerce store owners ASAP & prevent them
From cleaning out the racks of all the Sunday sale items!!
I’m always able to chitchat with the friendly staff & they have a clean restroom & vending machines that sell 75 cent GOOD QUALITY soda, teas & juice-plus very reasonably priced, fresh snacks- not just candy!
I JUST WISH THEYD GIVE THE MANAGERS THE ABILITY TO KEEP THE GREAT STAFF!
You’ll find yourself making friends among both the staff and fellow thrifters!
A lovely change from the usual rude, push & grab during big sales at other thrift stores!
