Zupan's Markets - Macadam

If I could afford to shop here for everything, I totally would. The selection is wonderful and the food is local and just so amazing. It is very spendy, so it’s always a treat to get something, but it is so worth it. We love the chicken tamales from the deli, they’re so good!

Beautiful market, staff was friendly and attentive. It was giving me Whole Foods vibes but local and family owned. I ordered sandwiches for a large group and were very happy with our focaccia bread ham sandwiches and our mozzarella and tomato sandwiches as well. My favorite though was their pea, sweet pea and onion salad tossed with olive oil and lime juice. It was delicious. I almost ate a whole tub meant for 5 ppl. Wish I would’ve taken a picture.

If there is a wine tasting, be there or be sad. The staff really knows what’s up. The wine is so good. Don’t deprive yourself. Prices are 10/10 <3

Small, local grocery store. Friendly staff and a great place for something special. Great seasonal produce, the Oregon Star tomatoes or local peaches in the summer!

I often will pick things up here for hostess gifts, birthday flowers,or house warming (Lorenzo Olive Oil #1 or #5 has been a favorite).

When we moved to Portland 15 years ago, this was our closest grocery store. We always felt welcomed! I still come here, whenever I go to our old dentist. The selection is amazing, and the staff is lovely, and warm!

We love shopping at Zupan's for specialty meats and cheeses. They have a great selection of wines as well. Though it is expensive for their everyday items, their specialty items are competitively priced.

The Produce is top notch fresh and delicious, the wonderful meat counter and cold cuts are for charcuterie board perfection! So many fantastic cheeses. I am in Love with their Balsamic and all of the employees are just so delightful!

If you want real Organic Food. Oh man this is the place. We are from out of town and I want to pick up this place and take it to wherever we go.

Hannah, at the S Macadam Ave, was so helpful with floral items on several projects. She was creative and willing to find a few unique elements for my needs.

A bit larger than the NW location (flower shop is inside for example) and a much better parking lot.

Same great items items including some kitchen things.

Best chocolate chip cookies.

We love to go to Zupan's to get new items that we don't see in the regular stores around home, they have a variety of imported items to try something new.

Love the many varieties of choices of products they have. Very pricey!

This review is for the fresh baked cookies. Top 5 cookies I have had in my entire life.

Around dinner time, we stopped in with a special request of a butcher: meat cut specifically for Philly cheese steaks. Nick, in the meat depart., was excited, but explained he could not use the special meat cutter. My face must have shown disappointment; Nick quickly offered to try the cuts by hand. With one down, I explained we were from So Jersey and having a family reunion of 8 people. Nick was up to the challenge! He happily complied and our family loved the results. Thanks so much.

My first time to Zupan's and ordered a tuna melt hot and it was so good! The tuna salad was perfect, not too much mayo, and the bread sliced just right. Friendly and very helpful staff too. Excellent experience and will be sure to stop at Zupan's next time I am in Portland!

Expensive but worth it--so avoid it at all costs if you want to don't want to be spoiled and poor.

Expensive and upscale grocery store. But people love it, and if I had the disposable income, I would too. Great atmosphere, friendly employees.
