Reply to Shannon “All are not welcome”. Dear Shannon, I read your review and your chargctererizan that your child was denied the sacrament of baptism is dishonest. The church is “universal” which means that it a single entity. Father Mike directed you to obtain baptism at your local church which only makes sense. That is where your child and your family are more likely to follow up and become a member of a Catholic community, get formed in the faith through CCD religious education, and receive future sacraments. Your negative attitude indicates that you are completely missing the point about what a holy and respectful life is all about. Rather than lovingly take a religious leaders informed advice, you bad mouth him. Start by striving to live a holy Christian life and and you will find that your reactions to things like this will be positive and not negative.

During the hurricane they were there for all of the folks in the parish.
Our church was a comfort to all.
They are wonderful people and are true Christians in spirit and action.
One of the best things about our summer home is St Catherine's they treat us all like family.

Great place to worship OFM.Welcoming and we bought a perpetual family candle, they put your family name on it and keep it lit for a year/ LaVacca/Ryan is on ours.65.00 per yr. Helps there church and your heart, well worth it.
