We stopped here enroute to the Island Beach State Park and had a great lunch. This was a nice little Mexican place that offered a wide range of foods. We were a family of two vegetarians, two meat lovers and two kids. This place had options for all of us. We enjoyed the sumptuously served meals, each very filling and reasonably priced. The woman who seated, served and waited on us was very welcoming and friendly.

Amazing. You can immediately tell this is a family-owned spot that takes pride in making authentic Mexican food. Their breakfast tortillas had to be handmade - delicious. Would recommend the huevos con chorizo or a la Mexicana for a filling bfast you won’t regret.

Wow, I was very impressed with everything about Salsa Salsa! Met by a very nice lady who was my server. Ordered the chicken tacos. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. Soft tortillas were perfect, and did not fall apart. Adding the mild salsa, onions, cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime made all of the flavors pop! Chicken had a nice grilled flavor. The only bad part was getting down to the last few bites and realizing that I was done with my lunch. The portion size was just right. I left there full and satisfied. Can’t wait to go back again.

If you want really good, fresh authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Small dining area of about 6 tables. Very clean. They also do take out and delivery. Plenty of parking. The building is right behind the old Marlins restaurant off Rt 35 North on the southern border of Pt Pleasant, near Bay Head. Next to DiMatteo’s pizza. Definitely give it a try.

I've never been let down here. I've tried a bunch of stuff on the menu from their nachos to tacos (+dorados) to tostadas and it's always a treat. The food is absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced and the staff is so nice. You cannot beat getting this quality Mexican food a block away from the beach.

I ate here a week ago! The food was amazing and the service was super kind! They allow you to do more than one type of meat for your taco order which is an added bonus! I look forward to coming back :)

Small family restaurant with Amazing Food and service. Wheelchair accessible.
Plenty of parking available. They also offer delivery service. The restrooms are Gender neutral and they are very clean. I saw a gluten-free choices on their menu.
Their staff is very friendly. I posted a picture of the Vegetarian Quesadilla that I had . It was amazing. I recommend this place.

Perfect little Mexican diner with all the Mexican Staples. I had a burrito which was superb. Fantastic people in a nice environment. Truly is a step into Mexico culture

Small family restaurant With great service. Awesome menu and selection but not too big. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. No fountain side just small bottles, no glasses or ice. I am eating here again.

Que buena comida Mexicana. We try the molcahete and it was delicious. For the price, it came with big chunks of meat and jumbo shrimp. Tacos de lengua and al pastor are so good

I LOVE their vegetable fajitas. They are delicious!! My cat loves their chicken tacos. 🌮 😻

Love this place! Few minute walk from. The train station. Can get a whole meal for under $20!!

Wow. My first time at this place and the only thing I can say it's WOW.. I never ever tough can be that real good. Tacos campesinos. The best. I'll be back very soon. Too far from my place but I'll try it again

Awesome Mexican cuisine! Super polite and quick staff - lunch for four ready in under 15 minutes. My family had tacos (al pastor, shrimp, and fish), all excellent. I had the steak torta and it was delicious. Overall great food and we’ll be back next time we’re in Point!

Incredible vegetarian entrees, wonderful to find a place that isn't just peppers and onions. Meals are authentic and delicious, prepared and served with love. It's like finding the Mexican cousins you never knew you had. BYOB.

I just got home from visiting the beach. The best everything. Burritos. Quesadillas, fijtas (shrimp and steak), and everything else I’d imagine. I think I’m going to miss their food more than the beach. Thank you so much. I’ll be back next year!

My wife and I were looking to go to Point Pleasant for a few hours on a cold winter day. We had passed a new Mexican restaurant called the Spicy Grill, but, the reviews were not appealing. Salsa Salsa got good reviews so we headed there for lunch and a walk on the boardwalk. Even knowing the approximate location, we still missed it and had to go back. It is in a small shopping center on the south side of Route 35 on the curve between Pt. Pleasant and Bayhead. It was worth the search. This is a small mom and pop restaurant. There are only five tables. The menu has a good selection of mexican dishes. I had the burrito which has meat, rice and beans and a side of rice and beans. While I like my burrito with just meat, this one had a good balance of all items. The flavors were nice and the sauces supplied had good flavor also. My wife had the tacos dorados. You get 4 rolled up tacos with rice and beans. She also enjoyed her dish and I enjoyed her left overs. I recommend this restaurant before or after the boardwalk.

I was so hungry and this fresh enchilada dinner just made my night. Thanks, Salsa, Salsa! I will be back.

We picked up takeout from here on way back to point pleasant beach. Very fresh food, large portions for price, and very authentic. Highly recommend!

This place has great authentic Mexican food. Been here a few times and definitely recommend. The huaraches are really good if you want to try something different than just tacos or burritos. The homemade tamarind drink is very good as well. Reasonably priced too.

I just ordered from here for the first time after moving to Point. I got the cheese enchiladas and they great. I love the salsa that came with the chips too. When I picked up the order everyone was so nice! Really liked the vibe of this place. This is going to be my go-to Mexican spot.
