T.J. Maxx

TJmaxx is Awesome! They sell a ton of high quality clothes, shoes, bags, toys, household stuff, kitchen, bathroom, bedding, pets, jewelry, snacks, gadgets, decorations and a lot of other things at huge discounted prices. Usually amazed at the higher end brand products being sold at a huge discount.

If you visit here looking for 1 thing, expect you will end up buying at least 10 or more other things 😄

This location was built in the 1980s in a very cool and stylish building of that era. Thankfully the exterior design is still fully in tact as it looked in the 80s and not modernized like mcdonalds/wendys etc. This TJ is on top of the strip mall with a huge roof parking lot. Great views of Paramus up here.. well as much as you can still see that isnt blocked by the new higher level buildings recently constructed. This is next to the old Fireplace restaurant which i hope they reopen someday.

Glad they open till 9:30pm since most of this strip mall closes at 8pm on the dot or earlier.

Pros:
Tons of shoes, handbags, clothes, and a lot of other stuff.
High quality goods and big brand names.
Ability to see items for real before u buy (better than amazon and online shopping in that regard).
Good return policy.
Huge parking lot.
Free parking.
Well organized.
Friendly employees.
Clean inside.
Clean restrooms with paper towels!
Open late till 9:30pm!
Great prices!

Thoughts from 01/2024..
Most of the stores and anchors from this strip mall and surrounding area are dead and long gone including The Fireplace, Toys R Us, Lord & Taylor, Bed Bath & Beyond... But TJ Maxx will never die!

Best Buy is shooting itself in the foot getting rid of all Blurays, DVDs, and CDs and will probably fade into nothing because of dumb decisions like that.

This T.J. Maxx is better than most of these stores throughout Northern Jersey! The staff is pleasant and helpful, unlike similar establishments. I like the selection of items throughout each department. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

This is one of the largest Tjmaxx locations along with that it’s very clean and very well maintained. I absolutely recommend shopping at that location you will not be disappointed.

So neat and organized. I came in on a Wednesday to do returns.

This store offers a wide variety of products. Some items will sell out quickly so get there quickly when new merchandise is available.
I have found their employees very good about pricing, getting product info and just being generally helpful. This is one of the reasons why I return there, even when inventory may be low on some items.

My store, I love TJ Maxx, always something new and exciting to see,love to check out the food imports from around the world. I love getting reasonable furnishings for my home. The beauty section is wonderful. You will find expensive beauty items that are half the price at TJ Maxx.

This location has the better merchandise items to look through. It's always clean and organized.
Check out line was a bit long, cashier was friendly once checking my items out.

T.J. Max is a great store for designer and off the runway clothing at amazing prices. New inventory everyday.

Love this place. Great variety of items at amazing prices. It's my go-to store for gifts and housewares. Compare to home goods and Marshalls. My favorite item is also their cards. Beautiful selection at a fraction of the cost of Hallmark cards. I never leave the store without a few. Also best place to buy kitchen towels and fabulous baby outfits.

They have cool prices on most items. I bought 6 pk of nail polish with one missing $3 love the summer colors. The cashier was polite and helpful

The store is nice the help they don’t speak English not all of them speak English you ask them for something they just tell you over there over there over there and they low on merchandise

Have been shopping here for years! Have always found great things at great prices! A man named joe works at the paramus store and is pivotal to their success! Was in retail for about 22 yrs it is not easy but they make it look that way. Also went to Fashion Institute of Technology and have an Associates in Buying and Merchandising. They know how to merchandise which makes shopping alot easier and fun!

As with everything prices have gone up, but still some great deals.

Great selection, nice staff, just remember they don't have plastic bags and the paper bags are little -bring your reusable bags!

Who doesn’t love TJMaxx! It’s always a pleasure to go there. I always find everything I need. Even when I have no plans in buying anything, I still go. It’s nice to browse around.

Always a favorite stop if I’m in the area. Great all around EXCEPT for very long lines every time I go. So long that I sometimes leave without purchasing. Yes😕
