Small but very nice synagogue, led by a great Rabbi, Aaron Mehlman. This synagogue was "founded in 1940 by a group of German Jews fleeing the horrors of Nazi Germany." Photos can be seen in the book, "Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City."

התארחנו בשבת בניו יורק והגענו לבית הכנסת אוהב שלום לתפילת שחרית של שבת במניין הספרדי.הרגשנו בבית.התפילה הייתה נהדרת המתפללים המקומיים קיבלו אותנו במאור פנים והוזמנו גם לקידוש אחרי התפילה שהייה עשיר וטעים ובעיקר כולם שם חביבים ומשרים אווירה טובה. אז תודה רבה לקהילת המתפללים באוהב שלום.
