Produce is of high quality, great price and always fresh.

I buy many of the prepared meals here. There is always a large selection with dishes changing with the seasons. The quality, freshness and flavor is well with the price. The hot food bar is also a great help when needing a quick hot meal immediately.

I have to be honest I don't do my full grocery shopping here. I find their prices on general items a bit high. You can get better deals at either Shop Rite or Acme.

This Use to be fooodtown and now fresh grocer . The store is at right size and everything inside is well organized. The store is not so busy during daytime which makes it easier for you to shop.
Fruits and vegetables are extremely fresh and prices are responsible.

The parking lot is huge but need repairs.

Gourmet catering for my daughter’s 1st Birthday party! My 35 guests raved about the shrimp platter appetizer, sushi platter, and assortment of cheese platter professionally displayed. The delicious main entrees included filet mignon, meatballs, chicken franchise, and a lot more! Catering provided serving tongs, salad dressings, dinner rolls, and everything needed to enjoy a tasty meal. A great party starts with gourmet food, and my guests were highly impressed with the quality of food. Hope my fantastic experience helps you decide.

Clean well presented store. Only thing I could say it's a little on the small side. But I know when I go there I'm getting good stuff!

I love this supermarket. It has everything you need. My fave are their Nnce bakery, hot fresh food to take out, fresh variety of sushi, Razonable prices.

Ordered through their catering and bakery departments for a party this past weekend and was not disappointed. Both hot buffet and mini roll sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Food was delivered and sterno racks set up. Cake was amazing! Will definitely use their catering service again!

The butcher has the best burgers anywhere around. Chicken breast (behind the counter) is equally awesome.

Always very clean...I usually find what I go for. The bakery is absolutely wonderful!!! Bonnie at deli is so very nice and Friendly and efficient. Best cashier is Samantha.
She's very helpful and pleasant. Luv to go shopping here....

This is my favorite food store in the whole state of New Jersey. I've been shopping here for over 20 years and just love this store. It used to be Food Town but now it is called The Fresh Grocer...same store different name. I always get my sauteed broccoli rabe from Bella in the catering department, because it's the best that I every tasted along with her stuffed peppers and other prepared hot foods. The deli department is always clean and the meats/cheeses are fresh also. The prices are a little more than ShopRite but you can save money by shopping for items on sale and using the digital coupons. On a scale of 1-10, I give this store a +12!!

I have driven past this store for many years, and after finally stopping in, Super Foodtown of North Haledon is one of my favorite local supermarkets. Once you enter you'll understand why it is one of the top family markets in North Jersey. With its clean, bright, and open design, the store is easy to navigate with friendly staff available to help you find items you're looking for. However, I encourage you to take your time and peruse the aisles to see all of the unique, and many times local, offerings stocking the shelves. I am also a fan of the delicious bakery and myriad of fresh cooked items available in the deli section.

Give this store a try, and I believe you'll be as pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem as I was.

It's not overwhelmingly large, but they have everything you need and the layout is nice. They put extra effort into their aesthetic and it's nice. Some of the premise food is amazing and they have a great sushi station.

When I went to college at William Patterson, I would usually go here instead of Stop & shop for my supplies. Even though it was a bit out of the way the prices were much better, and the selection was wider. It's hard to beat that on top of the liquor store right next to it. I think some of the sushi is from the same chef from arigoto. They have a great deal for buy two get one free. Can't beat that.

Foodtown? Update, now the Fresh Grocer. Nicholas Markets! Really above par in selection and freshness of produce, fish etc... It's a really nice looking store inside as well. Just a great place to shop. High quality all around.

My husband and I just traveled 3 hrs and were looking forward to relaxing and a quick dinner. The assortment of items to bring home was amazing and look so very good. They were tasty and hit the spot without the expense of eating out and the mess of making everything ourselves.

This store has THE BEST bakery in the area. The store as a whole is exceptionally clean. They also have excellent deli, seafood, prepared foods and sushi departments. If you buy organic foods or essential oils their prices usually beat their local competitors.

Love this supermarket. Has the best bakery ever. Always order for holidays and special occasions. The deli is also wonderful and you can't beat their prepared foods - both hot and cold. The butcher in the meat department is also very helpful. Best place to shop!!!!

I have lived in this town my entire life. The food is excellent, the staff is great, especially Jackie and Bella in the hot food dept. As far as the parking lot goes, I have never seen an accident ever. It's a little tight so you have to be careful, but that's because the place is so busy especially on Holidays. Great store. Manager Bob Greenway has got it going on. Mr. Miniacci would be very proud of the little store that he started all those years ago.

The BEST Foodtown in New Jersey that I have visited! The quality of their Meat and Produce departments in this store is like a "Breathe of Fresh Air" compared to the Caldwell & Parsippany Foodtown locations. 👀 The Deli department was on point with in-store homemade dishes and ready to eat options! The staff were friendly and approachable (very rare these days).

We catered through here for a party over the weekend and the food was very good. We had chicken parm platter, sausage and peppers, and tomato and mozz. The prices are also about $15-20 cheaper per platter compared to a deli. I am happy we found this little gem and we will be back for more catering for sure.
