Sakura Japanese Restaurant

Love the sushi here and it's local to me. Finding good sushi is not a given these days, so I am glad I was able to finally try this place out. Inside is not that big, with maybe only a handful of tables. Food is always fresh and served with a smile.

Nice local Sushi Spot located in its own little house/Main Street building location in Wycoff…. Reservations are only for parties for parties of 5 more - nice little booths, very accommodating staff, BYOB.

Great food, wonderful people and service. I have been eating there and ordering food from there for years. Never disappointed

Last evening was my very first visit to Sakura after I had moved from Ridgewood! I found this restaurant truly excellent by all standards ! The service, the ambiance and the food were truly exceptional and the very best!

Clean restaurant and delicious food. Fish is always fresh. Presentation is beautiful. BYOB. Friendly staff. The best sushi place in the area! Highly recommend the Kiss of Fire Roll.

I had placed an order with Sakura via DoorDash and the assigned dasher driver was unreachable. The owner kept the store open past close and finally sent their own delivery driver to my home to ensure I received my order. This is above and beyond service, not to mention the sushi itself was excellent quality. Many thanks for such a fantastic experience. Next time I will place the order directly through the restaurant!

Food was delicious. Our server was very nice. Although the restaurant is small it has a very nice atmosphere. They are open for lunch and dinner, offering many options. Try this place if you enjoy Japanese food. I think you will be happy you did.

Have eaten at Sakura probably over 100 times since it opened. They did a great job staying afloat during the dumb pandemic, delivery was reliable, and even prices stayed reasonable. We've eaten in person many times since the craziness subsided and its still great, albeit it seems a bit understaffed, which seems every restaurant suffers from these days.

As far as food goes, its still as good as it gets. While we've eaten at most of the sushi joints in this part of Bergen county for the past 25 years, Sakura is still super reliable, tasty and fresh. Don't understand most of the 1 star reviews, seems a bit extreme, but reviews are reviews I guess, and people like to complain. The Bento box dinners are epic, the rolls are amazing and generous, and the Nigiri is always excellent in my experience.

Came here when I was on my way to NYC. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was very good, very fresh ingredients. Staff got our food quickly and tended to our needs very well. I can't stress enough that the ingredients here were very fresh, the sashimi, veggies, etc. were all great. I plan on stopping here again on my way to the city next time I'm in the mood for Japanese. Oh, and the presentation was beautiful! It would have been nice if they served alcohol, but I know the laws are silly in Jersey. So I won't subtract a star for that. Great job!

One of our favorite sushi spots in Bergen county. The atmosphere is clean and nice without being stuffy. The food is always delicious and fresh. I recommend ordering a bit less than usual since their signature rolls are bigger than others.

Was able to accommodate our large party ( 9 people). Everything tasted fresh and was presented nice.

This is the best sushi and Japanese restaurant in the area and maybe the best in Bergen county. The tuna pizza (trust me), Volcano and Mango tuna special, and sashimi are incredible. Seaweed salad is also awesome. Everything is exceptionally fresh and looks and tastes amazing. Service is mostly very good.

Very good Japanese food. I would recommend anybody that's around to try it. Very good service and nice atmosphere. Customers are very nice and waiters are very accommodating. I'm a very picky eater so trust me when I say that I will come back again every time I'm in the area. I live in Massachusetts and I'm willing to drive all the way over here just to eat here. 6/5 stars!

We had dinner their 1st time this past Saturday night 7//18/15'. Randomly picked by my wife. The service and food were great. She had Steak and I had Lobster. A little bit tight and small but very good food quality and all the staff were very professional. Definitely going back to Sakura as the pricing is very fair for the food quality and service rendered. Great little place ! Ciao
